Hey Sean Zero😊. I just got gifted a pair of these🎉🎉🎉, but I don’t have hestia/hyperian money😢. I have max $1500. Any suggestions for a quality integrated amplifier that would have good synergi with the 10s? Thanks. Hope you are doing well ✌🏼

Definitely ALL HYPE. I have owned one and it’s the worst amplifier I have had. It has a very poor bass and an extremely sterile forward midrange. It has been replaced by the Rega Brio a far superior amplifier!

Since when is rap part of a variety of music? Unless you are talking to rap people to suggest these speakers.

For a rock listener, would you recommend matching a subwoofer?

I have a set of DIY speakers with vintage Morel drivers. It is my favorite pair. Smooth, clear and detailed. Morel drivers have an excellent sound that delivers music and detail beautifully. I bet these speakers sound fantastic. I have been wanting to try a set of Fritz speakers. These may be the ones. Thanks for your great reviews.

The last 2 points are vital. If people are listening to the system they are not listening to the music.

Some CA integrated amps need a long time to 'burn in' (which is not a myth but has little to with heat) and generally level out to A to B. As they have to tone controls as such and alteration of frequencies benefits from using a simple analog mixer or equalizer at either end of the IN/OUT signal journey. What was probably happening in the brand new 81 being tested was that the op-amps would tend to, as it were, "run rich" but when components settle to typical voltages from source there is a settling down. Oddly, the large sound stage is not an affect of this process but is a genuine feature of CA equipment going back decades and it comes from high quality design and engineering. Not everyone likes "the Goldilocks Zone" in hi-fi but can buy something else or swap about other items. The fact that I still use the selfsame CA Dacmagic, transport and sometimes an amp now as I bought nearly 40 years ago speaks volumes because I have always been a tinkerer with speakers and sources. This amplifier will drive moody and demanding speakers as well as such as B&W traditional ones and never seem to age.

Hi Sean...love your reviews... Klipsch must have either given free Cornwall lV to every audiophile reviewer they possibly could have...or else paid reviews or perhaps both... Why do I say this...? do a KZbin search for Klipsch Corwall lV 🤣... ...and now I'm seeing these Klipsch Cornwall lV speakers and other Klipsch speakers poping up used everywhere for sale...seriously😮 I'm a Vintage Tannoy guy after a few years of testing vintage and other speakers...I'm sure there are those that will like these...I've only heard them on KZbin...but so far I think the Forte sounds better than this Cornwall lV...

Great review. Was thinking about getting these as front replacements for huge Klipsch towers in a large room. I know it was mentioned that these would not be good for a large space. However, I have 3 subwoofers. So, would they be good tower replacements in this case?

Меняйте входные лампы на американские. Выходные на лучшее, чем которые стоят штатно. И он будет играть лучше, чем luxman за многие тысячи долларов.

Americans whine too much. This receiver costs 300 Euro in Europe and is considered a genuine value. What good would binding posts, 5-way no less, serve?

Have Marantz PM6006 UK edition and like the engaging sound. Would have been interesting if you also have compared the model 30 with the PM8006 at the end. Also model 30 against Kinki Studios EX-M1 as here I want to make a choice between XE-M1 and model 50 which has a little less output.

The cheapaudioman has got a nerve...one minute he's "Mr Down-to-earth", "Mr No-nonsense", next he's extolling the virtues of "audiophile grade power cords". This behavior isn't limited to him, but it's even more annoying coming from a guy who comes across as "no BS".

I own a pair of these powered by a Simaudio Moon 390 preamp and two Simaudio Moon 400 mono block amplifiers. I am using Nordost Heimdahl cables and wires. This system rocks for a little less than the price of the Delta stack you mentioned. Overall, this is one of the best and most accurate reviews of ANY high end component on the web. Thanks for a solid review!

I’ve had mine for about 8 months now averaging 6-8 hours a day and it definitely got more cohesive with less random harshness at some point. Though I can’t remember exactly how long it took, put in some time before you judge harshly as it’s a good all rounder for the money with a better than average (at the price point) phono stage. Ps. I have paired with wharfedale aura 2s

Hi! Thank you for the review. I have a pair of Focal Aria 948 and I run them with a Pioneer combo from the 90s. The c73/m73 pre and power. I also have the svs 1000 sub, just to add a little more on the low side. My auditions are low to moderate and I was wondering if changing to Parasound a21+ or a23+ will give me that wow change, to say so. The 23+ is more on the budget, but if 21+ will give a much better sound, I will rethink the budget. :) What would you recommend? I would really appreciate it. Of course, the preamp will follow, probably the P6. Thank you!

Shawn, I recently grabbed a pair of these used from The Music Room and I was sort of blown away by their sound. I'm using them at large desk in sort of a near field set up. I tried them in my main listening room, and out too far from the wall, they lose some of the magic and warmth. I know Totem makes their speakers with lifestyle in mind and they're designed to be closer to the front wall than I typically like for imaging and depth. Do you know any other brands that sound similar to Totem? These speakers have a great mix of warmth and body while retaining crystal clear highs and accurate harmonics. I'm trying to find something for my main listening room that has those qualities but can fill a slightly larger space and be placed a good 4 feet from the front wall. I know this is an old video and you don't do much on the channel anymore, but I figured I'd still give it a shot asking about this. Cheers man. Hope all is well.

Unfortunately after sales service at Kinki Studio leaves a lot to be desired. My EX-M1+ amp, only a few months old, developed nasty distortion on every channel. All Kinki has done is to blame it on my cables. I have checked my cables on two other systems and they are in perfect condition. Kinki refuses to swap out the amp. For that reason I have to recommend you avoid Kinki Studio products at least for now.
