You're trying to get us excited with the coming season which will probably be successful. But none of it will matter for the fans because the Leafs are going nowhere in the playoffs because Matthew's will simply get choked off again but he will still make his millions along with MLSE.

I also think Jamie Benn has definitely become one of the dirtier players in the league. If I remember right he was the guy that crosschecked Auston Matthews in the ribs a few years ago.

If Phil knew how too back check. He may have been given a chance with Toronto again this year. But sadly this wouldn't be the Phil teams would get this year.

Personally, I wouldn't want Phil Kessel, or if he was still playing Dion Phaneuf, to ever play for the Leafs again. And I have a feeling Brendan Shanahan probably feels the same way. Because of the way things played out with Kessel and Phaneuf and that whole "salute-gate" thing they were responsible for. It's when they told the rest of the team not to salute the fans after a win, which they normally were doing before that. The team stank at the time, some fans threw jersey's on the ice the game before when the Leafs got blown out. But after a win the next game they decided to not salute all fans because of the actions of a few. That's why I say Dion Phaneuf was the worst captain in Leafs history. Because no other Leafs captain would have done that to Leafs fans.

@@jacobfilicetti5805 There was so much controversy when him and Phaneuf were here, the team was so bad. Fans were throwing Leafs jerseys, and for some strange reason waffles on the ice at times. One time after a win the Leafs went off the ice refusing to salute the fans as they usually did after a win. It created a ton of controversy, people called it salute-gate, and it was probably the beginning of the end for Kessel and Phaneuf as Leafs.

The Leafs' 1993 playoff run is some of my favourite Leafs memories for sure! And this was an absolutely unbelievable game, it was a goaltending clinic. But in the end Cujo was no match for Doug Gilmour!!! And thank you for enjoying the video and subscribing!!! I really appreciate it!
