I learnt to play this on my acoustic guitar in E flat but I cannot for the life of me get the words to sound right with the chords. I am now trying to play along with this fantastic singer and the synchronisation is still very difficult. It sounds easy but for some reason, I just find it very difficult. Must try harder and I wish I had a voice like yours.

Used your tutorial, next karaoke session, friend and I killed it. Actually the main melody, I feel like, doesn't need to be sung in chest voice as long as the harmony is sung really well. Or get a female to sing the top melody in chest voice. Anyway, great tutorial.

I’ve been in a cover band making a living for 15 years and i’ve worked with many lead singers. You definitely have the tone and the ability to be a lead singer in a band, no doubt! I can’t speak for an acapella group. Any song that you might find that is not in your register you have the ability to figure out a way to sing it or the band can change the key. Since you can sing good enough what’s most important is keeping yourself looking great and practice being a great frontman.
