Audix in the porthole sounded best. Had the most boom and attack. Akg was of course a good sound all around, but I dug the Audix. Pyle was too tiny outside and inside. Placed at the porthole wasn't terrible though.

The audix d6 was my favorite overall, but I think they all have their place in different situations. I would definitely use that pyle inside with a hipass in combination with the d6 in the port. Great way to get more attack out of the drum without having too boost the high end on the kick out mic!
