@@astonr11The speed should be around about as fast as a present day military belt fed machine gun (but not as fast as a multi barrelled minigun). Auto cannons were designed to mow down enemies that are in groups such as halting a charging/advancing enemies or attacking fortified enemy positions or enery armor (tanks and other vehicles). In Warhammer 40000 roleplay the autocannon fires (in full auto) 5 shots in a round (almost 5 seconds of time), with a clip size of 20. I hope it helps. :)

@@astonr11 The ROF seems good, though it could be slightly faster. In my mind 40k autocannons fire 120-240 rounds per minute, or 2-4 rounds per second, similarly to modern high caliber autocannons. So for example they should sound like POM-POM-POM, heavy bolters should be DAKKA-DAKKA-DAKKA, and assault cannons should go BRRRRRRRRRTTTT. EDIT: In your animation since 4 rounds fire over 3 seconds, that would be a ROF of 80 RPM I think. So 1.5 to 3 times faster would sound better.

@@tau-5794 Autocannons don't really have that much RoF, I think what you're thinking of is a heavy stubber, which is quite literally a belted machinegun from IRL
