I like the Entel and Tait gear. The last DX / HX series Entel that I played with did not have the ability to show frequency on the display, so this must be a more recent firmware version. Look for a Tait TP300 series - You will not BELIEVE how rugged they feel!

Hi this might be a silly question, but I have a Sony Handycam DCR TRV520 that has a firewire port, I also have a ton of Sony 8mm tapes (does not say Hi8 or Digital 8 on them). My question is if I can transfer them using this firewire technique? Thanks in advanced!!

Hi there, thanks so much for the video. May I ask - I have many tapes which were recorded with a Canon HI 8 Camcorder. Would it also work to digitalize them with a Sony Camcorder like yours or does it have to be the exact model with which the tapes had been recorded?
@ElectronicNoobBlog
@ElectronicNoobBlog 2 күн бұрын
As long Your Sony camcorder will read analog tapes (like that model I presented) it will work without any issues with any brand. Problems might happen when Your old camera had technical problems head was misaligned then it will work "better" played back on device it was recorded but this is more in form of fun fact not general standard - so someone might tell You that and in rare cases it will be true.

Very good! Congratulations! Can you post the link where you bought the XT60 to 8mm DELL cable! I can't find it! The ones for sale are the 7090 or 8020 without the connection part which doesn't connect/enter the 8mm charging port of the GZ.

It's not for sale, I bought it as visual eye candy prop for my replica. I paid couple hundred bucks - with was very good price (couple years ago, just back then did not had right replica for it, I had plastic one) and because of that I would assume it might be not working (it clearly seen some action because there is dust that looks from dessert). I would be scared to plug 5K genuine radio to it to even try. Visual effect is stunning, inside look like "real deal".

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I am going to replace my MK375, because I need stabilized power on all terminals for electronic dimmers etc. Also some LED lamps tend to flicker with the unstabilized power. Your video helped me to understand my current implementation, so I know what connectors I have to use on the new one (a CSV 300).

Very long time when I was dealing with military radio I often came across , when someone ask for price that mean they cannot afford it. Here is similar case - You are asking detailed questions about chines garbage shit that cost like 4 bucks - it's clearly not for You - grab decent Parkside that act like real pump and You can get those info from datasheet - here I don't have any detail. Don't get me wrong It is brilliant device for it's price - saved me many times during flooding when I had pump out water thru window and window was to small to pass bucket - I plug this and it at slow pace drain even large kid's poll - so I 100% recommend but not for tasks You are asking for.

@@ElectronicNoobBlog Hey Sorry buddy, but you took it the wrong way... I'm suggesting (in very few words) that if your going to go though the effort of putting together a YT Video, think about all you could provide, and do what you can. For example: put your thumb over the outflow and tell us about the pressure you feel, show us how long it takes to transfer a liter, Comment on how loud or quiet it is, show us how low you have to lower it before is starts drawing water ... In other words: make us feel like we were there with you. That mindset can get you more subscribers. The questions were just to get you to think more broadly, no disrespect intended. Good luck with your channel.

@@4pharaoh I did not want came up as smart-ass, what I mean we can put into different saying "Using the Right Tool for the Job" - just trying to tell that You sound like someone having high expectations and I'm just sure it won't meet them! (I said it because I wanted save You from spending money on that thing -that was my point) It had no problem to be stopped by finger - it is not powerful at all. Job on video it do well and that was what I wanted to share - that cheap thing can help a lot in certain situations. I leave it running from battery - some time pass -water is gone! Next time I will be more specific! Thanks and take care!

@ElectronicNoobBlog

You need both special cable and software. Question what are You looking for - if You want program it once for life - then it's cool. If You want play around - I would look for something that can be programmed from keypad.

Hi. On mine, those little blue spinning cogs inside the end pieces stopped rotating. Do you have any solution for that? I tried moving the grey piece up and down, hitting slightly the end part, low-high setting (1-5) nothing helped. If i move the nozzle with a needle, the cog rotates easily, but as soon as I turn the water on, it gets stuck.
