You totally missed the meaning of the song... listen more carefully, or watch the video intended to help you understand. Please and thank you.

The musicianship is way beyond almost any other genre. These guys (and bluegrass pickers in general) are among the best musicians in the world. Ironically, many people go through a bunch of genres and finally settle on bluegrass.

I loved your reaction to this amazing song. If you enjoyed Paulo’s voice I recommend you listen to the Welsh band Stereophonics especially the song Maybe Tomorrow, this is a laid back tune but most of their stuff is much heavier rock. I mentioned this tune in particular because it showcases Kelly Jones’s vocals.

Dave is playing the bass line and chords at the same time. The video is not synced correctly. There are times he’s playing an open B, E or A string and goes up high, where it looks like he’s not playing a low note, but he is. I play 6 string bass and in jazz combos I’ve played like that if there was no keyboard or guitar. No tracks whatsoever.

Chris Squire plays the Moog Taurus bass pedals in addition to the bass and in concert he plays this on a triple neck bass.

Meanwhile I have watched so many Iron-Sky-reactions, but yours is by far the best! You have analyzed it with knowledge and I especially appreciate you coming back after listing to it three more times after understanding the whole concept of that song. For me Paolo’s voice is the strongest part, but the lyrics are so damn good. For me as an American living in Germany it is always interesting that some musicians are as popular in the states and Europe. And some never made it over the ocean. The German music scene is pretty lame; I have no real explanation for it. Germany are not good pop music. With some exceptions like Henning May from “AnnenMayKantereit” kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6OWc2qvr5t9bJosi=Ht_kAjy3XSjktNtG kzbin.info/www/bejne/faacgKyYrduko6ssi=zDli661SLoO73edY The by far best European musicians are situated on the British Island and Scandinavia. Especially Scottland. I have no idea why, but Scotland is full of super gifted talents. That’s why a visited a Paolo Nutini-concert in Hamburg, when he was 18 or 19. And it was NO disappointment, as expected.

Wasn't Petrucci singing, it's just who wrote the lyrics for each section. Labrie sings lead vocals and Portnoy sings back up.

His whispery tone is truly extraordinary. There are songs in which he can literally touch the heart. Especially when you listen through headphones. Then he is so close with his voice that you feel "pleasantly intriguing discomfort". I felt something like that with moment A rhythm (full version) or film A moment (studio version)

What it is perceived as "delay" is actually tachyon disruption; Tool's velocity exceeds the speed of light and therefore travels backwards in time.

Actually this is like an "answer" to Kashmir. It was the way to Ritchie to say "hey i can do it better". The song it’s about false Messiah’s. At the end of the guitar solo sounds how the wizard climbs and falls of the tower.
