This video is misleading. The process is not easy, nor is it stress free. I’ve tried inputting my information multiple times now and am met with the same error at the end “unable to create account” marked in red even though I am in the “one time payment” section.

It helps to know that the sticker, when attached, will face the inside of the car, not the outside. The video was a bit confusing (to me) because it shows peeling the face off. "4. Do not move or adjust a sticker transponder once it has been installed. It will break and become unusable. " I assume this should not be done.

The system is rubbish. I’m unable to pay the toll for the rental car I’m using on both the app and website, and tomorrow I’m leaving the US. I don’t know wt to do. Will I be charged huge fines when I enter the country next time ?

This system is a straight up scam. Toll amounts due are never shown on the site and its pretty much guesswork to find out what you owe, ensuring you pretty much always have to pay a violation fee. Great stuff all around.

Says right in our constitution. We have a right to travel. The roads are supposed to be paid for by the gas tax. Of course ur crooked gov spends that money on other things

This system is SCAM. I ended up accidentally on the toll road then tried to look up my charge on the website like the sign says within 7 days. Website says 5 days. Either way, wasn't found in the system. How can you pay it on time if it doesn't come up on the website. Keep looking, nothing. Then a letter comes the next week with a HUGE penalty for not paying. $170 for not paying a $10 toll??? How are we supposed to pay the original amount if it never comes up on the website??

Yes, please create an account at TheTollRoads.com and follow the steps on the "Transponder" tab to activate the transponder to your account.

WHY?? I can’t wait till we have the technology to identify if a car has a toll pass or not just by using something already attached to the car?????? Maybe a placard with identifying letters and numbers 🤔 that’ll be the day.. wtf??

Great question. They do take pictures of your license plates as you go through tolls. Transponders on the other hand are more of a convenient way of paying. There is also a plus to to having a transponder as well because you can also over time accumulate discounts when constantly using toll roads. Also with a transponder you don’t have to worry about accidentally getting fines or violations because they automatically take the money out of your account when driving through toll roads compared to not having one because sometimes it takes a while to process those pictures and throughout that time it could be passed the actual time (which is 5 days) to pay for the toll when using it. Trust me the violations grow and grow the more you don’t pay on time. Just like breaking the law.

I checked my debt 3 days after I used the 73 freeway (fuck waze) and there were no charges. Then try again the next day and nothing. Now I try just to confirm and I have an additional charge for being late. 🙄

I've been calling and leaving messages and NEVER get a call back! I installed my transponder sticker and I want to know is if I did it correctly. I peeled the backing off and adhered to my windshield. It says "Bay City on the outer side and the bar code part is inside. Is this correct? You'd think they'd call you back after numerous messages but I guess not. This is ridiculous! Can someone please tell me if it's installed correctly!?! Thank you!

This was not helpful at all but I managed to figure it out on my own just remove both little stickers place it kinda under the steering wheel and you gotta switch it to fast mode honestly I just keep it on there all the time and then you’re good to go use me as a dislike button

The sticker ones come free when you make an account. The bulky 3 way transponder is a 20 dollar purchase. Only big difference with the 3 way transponder and the sticker is the 3 way saves you a dollar from time to time, not a big difference to be honest.
