Just do your math. Genshin has 65millions active account monthly. Check how many views official video and views from cc get. New official video get around 3~5million(all regions combined ) and popular cc gets like 100~200k at most. My estimate is around 10~20% of the playerbase are actively engage with the online community. So yeah the dev has the actual statistics of their playerbase. And if they are smart they will make decision base on that. Since the company not dead yet and still growing, I'm just gonna assume they know what they are doing, at least better than some random dude on the internet. Better to just face reality. If your not having fun, quit and go find something else to do. You only live once.

The thing is, I'm Chinese myself and I know that the number 1 thing is only about money. Typically when we get big and famous, we get really cocky. It was never about the players first. They would only panic when they're losing money.

The struggle between self-control and FOMO has become significantly apparent to me since the start of this mess. The struggle to maintain self-respect and dignity while fighting the temptation to play Genshin/pull/spend money is crazy. This situation is quite serious and eye-opening.

It really forces people to realize things like "oh shit I might have an addiction here" which is good because it gives those people an opportunity to break that addiction and learn not to become so dependant. If you need to, I'd recommend just picking up another game to play in the meantime so you're less tempted to pull on Genshin. If you're not already playing it then Punishing Gray Raven is of course a good option, as is any console/PC game. PGR would help scratch that specific itch of pulling for characters though.

Just stop playing if you dont want to play it, its kinda that simple really. What's the point of review bombing and running around whining. If you dont like the game, dont play it, if you have complains leave a reasonable review and leave it at that. In reality a decent chunk of players just dont care that much. I have played genshin since day 1, haven't dropped a day and spent a decent sum of money but I simply dont care if genshin gives or doesn't give rewards. Most people are just playing the game for the fun of it, if you dont enjoy it or whatever just go play something else, you are not obligated to spend time on the game in the same way hoyo is not obligated to abide by your whims.

Same man, I am very unhappy and bored right now with what's happening on Genshin Impact (I've been playing this game for 3 yrs + welkin and battlepass monthly) . I just started PGR and oh man Kuro is very generous with their player base, like I just started the game last week, and its been giving me 2-3 5 star selectors, 6 star weapon selectors, generous pulls and many more. But that's not what keeps me playing the game, its the combat and QOL inside the game, like I'm wondering why Hoyoverse a multi billion dollar company can't do shit like that for over 3 years...didn't know that Kuro can cook something like this. If I got to nitpick though I'd really prefer if they add voicelines to the story, imho having them makes the characters more "alive" and the only thing that I missed while playing PGR (making the character "alive" is where Hoyoverse specializes in imho.) TLDR: I am uninstalling genshin, maybe I'll return once they fix their QOL and generosity towards the players (though with what's happening right now, I don't know if that even possible anymore). Wuwa is also around the corner, hoping on that game immediately after release, need to quench my thirst for waifu characterization and world building.

Not to mention voting with money will never work in games because part of the community that exists on youtube and twitch is absolutely nothing compared to the majority of people who play and spend on it.. i quit the game first week on release because of how scumy it was back then to pay energy for event rewards. That along give me a reason to never tough this game ever again. But it seems like Genshing players realy enjoy getting fucked over ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Any sane person would play somting else instead like zelda.

The problem are the CC's who voice their opinions being critical of the game and they spends like 10000$ the next day either on their account or viewer summons. If they are the ones who are not spearheading a boycott you don't expect a random andy to have a change of heart

They shower HSR with rewards cause otherwise the game doesn't hold up. Genshin is a single player adventure game, not some hardcore MMO not sure why these "creators" can't live with it. New story and content on itself is a reward in a FTP game.

I don't want to sit and grind there all day, cause it will be even more pointless than it is now to grind artifacts. It's an episodic casual adventure game not some grindfest mmo.

I still don't understand why the players feel entitled to the rewards. I feel like what they are doing is indeed bare minimum but I am not entitled to any of that the 3 intertwined fates are not that much but hey it's free isn't it? HSR is a completely different game with different pity and gacha system and even if they are getting a free 5 star in HSR it shouldn't be any concern of a genshin player. The point I'm getting to is that no one is entitled to nothing you either get it or not

Yeah, i start the game for a little over a month ago, pay zero cent and already put like 100hrs+ in the game. The stories and gameplay are so good and i know i barely start @@ Especially the stories of shenhe and Khaenri kingdom are incredible. Like this is a gacha game, you know what you sign up for when playing this. You literally can pay nothing and ignore the gacha , the quality still there for free

yeah i see where you are coming from but, it is not enough to the playerbase since it won't hurt the company by any means at all if they were to just give out 1 5* selector. even if it is from the limited banner. since they are a multi billion dollar company. they have been giving bad treatment to the players. like not taking in criticism. even though the players love the so much. tldr; the player's care and love for the game isn't being reciprocated by the company.

Beside, the map, events and stories in the patch is pretty handful of primogems if you play. Personally i rather quality over just throw out a char and call it a wrap. You do you tho

Please please early use 4 Aife instead of Ike . The matrix trigger can deal a tons of damage with the chance to survive in the early-mid game + QTE from (S) nanami if you got her with memory reduced def and fire resistance. Ike might give % of burn but as you already got the yellow ping+red it won't be that much useful compared to surviving the game.

Darwin is always at the top (1, 2 and 3) since it has low atk for bottom slot, so go shakespeare on bottom (4,5 and 6). meaning youre in the right place.
