Hey, nice build! Question, are the forks the exact same as last years? I have Cone valves on my KTM at the moment so want to know if they’re a straight swap. Unlike the new KTMs where I’ll need new spacers
@clrrk24 күн бұрын
I’m pretty sure the cone valves will still fit it as the GasGas didn’t get the suspension upgrades that’s the Husky and KTM did. The 6500 cartridges in mine are the exact ones that were in the old models

Would love them to be more frequent but time and budget really limits that. Will try make them longer going forward - theres a real balance between recording everything and actually getting work done on the van

Can you make a short video, how to “crank” the fork ?, I have renault kangoo and I need to lower the bike a few inches 🙏🏽
@clrrk2 ай бұрын
I just put a rachet strap around the bottom fork clamp, and connect the other end to the bottom of the fork - the WP forks have an recess in there for one of the adjustments so it hooks in nicely - then just tighten the strap so it compresses the forks

If you could choose a 300 with TPI, TBI, or carb configuration which would you choose?
@clrrk4 ай бұрын
Each have their merits. Carb still delivers the best power but you have all the extra maintenance with jetting for altitude, carbs getting dirty etc TPI now the different compression heads and maps exist are a well known and pretty reliable platform but still aren’t going to replicate how a carb rides. TBI has more grunt than TPI out of the box but isn’t quite as good as a carb however you still get all the modern conveniences of just being able to fuel it and go. For me if I was picking I think it would be the TBI. As far as an all rounder goes, they’re hard to beat
