I'm old school, Coach Gibbs era. I've waited a long time for another solid and consistent team. We may not make the playoffs 🤔 but I'm thankful that after 20 + years Snyder is gone. Until Gruden got his ass handed to him, I didn't realize how hard the franchise was being treated. As much history and record setting teams 😢. Snyder will get his due someday. Go HOGS!!

"Redskins" is in the dictionary as a slur. It meant "bloody Indian scalps" during a massive genocidal area. Plus, droves of American Indians protested it for longer than 26 years. If they sincerely view it as a slur against their culture, that is enough for a change. Not all American Indians take offense to "Redskins", but none of them will get negative impacts from its removal. Being named after a tribe would be better than "Redskins"!!!! Some examples: Washington Cayuse, Washington Jemez, Washington Pomo, Washington Pueblos. This franchise's old Redskins emblem is beautiful.
