As an American, Thai Chi's fake dude, it's made up, imagination woo. If you want a real marital art try kung-fu or aikido.

How nice to have a non-American accent for a change! We, as Americans, have developed an accent, enunciation, style that is so "car salesman act"! We don't notice it, much less have an awareness of how consumerist and puerile our culture is.

Nice, tnx! Questions / suggestions: 1. Whats diff bn single hand silk reeling n cloudy hands. Looks like CH. 2. What or whefe is focus of vision? On outside hand or beyond? Does it matter? 3. Turn body 2 side so we can see elbow coming in; its hard 2 tell fr front view alone. Tnx again!

Cloud hands includes side stepping, but cloud hands also includes silk reeling. Your eyes follow the direction of the energy, but if that’s a bit ambiguous let the eyes keep hands in view at all times. There should be another silk reeling video on my channel with side views if not I’ll be putting out some new content soon to cover that. Thanks for your feedback.

Very good session, so manybyears i practised chi gung,that was pne of the best,due to sustained movements and silence,. The only slight negative was the ads,obstruc the chi. But that's ok.

Excellent words about Tai chi and I agree with everything. The detail and nuance of Taijiquan is incredible, endlessly fascinating. The understandings practice of this art can lead to are unlike anything else. Tai chi can help improve whatever else you do.

Unfortunately I’m not well-versed in Yang style, but as I understand it Yang style developed out of observing Chen style so it’s probably very likely.

24:25 I feel a magnetic repulsion between my palms. What is that? Am I supposed to feel it?
@CenterLifeBalance
@CenterLifeBalance 5 ай бұрын
I think that is a common experience, and one I have experienced many times before. It will get stronger and change and evolve as you continue to practice. As relaxation increases throughout the body the energy flows better, connecting previously disjointed parts of the body. I suspect that this is what leads to the magnetic sensations between the hands. Sounds like you are on the right track!

Hi, what programs do you recommend to become trained to teach tai chi (and develop my own practice), especially for women and children? Thank you. Ps... my son named our dog Shen years ago...and incidentally he has been sitting right next to us, alert and looking relaxed and happy while we have been song morning qigong lately aa a family. Thank you!

I do Yang style Tai Chi and they hold the arms out and higher. I. Have been doing it the way you do and I can relax much more. What is your opinion on the correct way to do standing in the post as it seems there are differences in the way it's done.If you could expound on this topic I would be much obliged, thanks.

In my opinion and from my understanding holding the arms around the height of the centre enables shoulders and elbows to relax and sink down and the back to relax. When relaxation is everywhere and the weight is sinking down into the feet and the soles of the foot are heavy on the ground The arms will naturally rise upwards a little bit as the chi flows to the finger tips and fill up the arms and everything else. At higher levels the arms can be quite high. Same can be said for the form. Are my arms too high or not high enough? am I still relaxed with my arms at this height? If there’s tension in the shoulders then my arms may be too high and I need to lower them until I’ve Learned to relax. Relaxation is the first principle and can be used to guide all positioning of the body .

*IT IS NO EXAGGERATION - THIS VIDEO CHANGED MY LIFE* I was in SO much pain from just relaxing I figured I needed to do more of this, it could not be good to be THAT tanst it hurt to relax. I've done this every day for a week now - I can sleep without back pain, I did not know that was possible, I thought it was just a function of being 53. I am sleeping so much better. I get so much more done. I feel happy when I wake up. I can stand up straight, my posture is WAY better, the hump on the back of my neck has gone. I can move without effort. Unbelievable...

If you study correctly and long enough, you will not feel your legs. The Mind will empty them. But yes, they really hurt as you begin. Protect your knees too. Then, the hard parts begins😊
