As far as I'm concerned, 2018 will always be the best. The happy sounding First Steps, Odyssey's guitar, the low tones of the GOW theme, Proof of a Hero on a Gog d*mn synth! I'm definitely not just biased towards MHW, Celeste, and GOW. Though, I do admit, the Sekiro to ResE2 switch is glorious, and the building would've collapsed if they had used the raw, pure BRASS of Final Battle.

2018 is so ICONIC compared to the other years, just not for the games is because this orchestra was Unic Even Lena raine, D,Angelo and Sarah Schachner (composer for Celeste, Assasins creed and Red dead Redemption, it would be better if woody Jackson was there but unfortunately he was not there but anyway) was on the stage and they are armonizing through the songs so smoothly

The Astro Bot music is actually Credits Clash, the music that obviously plays during the credits sequence of the game- the violins are playing the electric guitar melody in the original track. The vocals from I Am Astro Bot are just used for both songs.

My favorite theme of each year: 2017 (including that as well): Super Mario Odyssey 2018: Celeste 2019: Resident Evil 2 2020: Ghost of Tsushima 2021: Metroid Dread 2022: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 2023: Super Mario Bros Wonder 2024: Astro Bot With my two favorites from the two recent years, I can conclude that if it sounds happy, I’m gonna love it.
