What's maximo diferential pressure in sand filter?
@kwstn6 ай бұрын
The maximum differential pressure in a sand filter typically indicates the point at which the filter needs to be backwashed or cleaned to maintain efficient operation. This pressure varies depending on the design and manufacturer specifications. It's crucial to consult the specific guidelines provided by the sand filter manufacturer for precise information. Operating a sand filter beyond its maximum differential pressure can result in damage to the filter media or the filter system itself. Regular monitoring of differential pressure and timely maintenance, such as backwashing or filter replacement, is essential to ensure efficient and safe operation.

we can adjust the choke size (adjustable choke) to make it the same as on the well?
@kwstn Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can adjust the choke size on an adjustable choke to match the choke size on the well. This will help to ensure that the flow rate of fluid or gas through the choke is consistent with the flow rate through the well. However, it is important to note that there are a number of factors that can affect the flow rate through a choke, including the type of choke, the fluid or gas being choked, and the pressure differential across the choke. As a result, it may be necessary to make some adjustments to the choke size in order to achieve the desired flow rate.

can we install the same choke bean (fixed choke) size that is on the well (same wellhead choke size)?
@kwstn Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can install the same choke bean (fixed choke) size that is on the well (same wellhead choke size). This is a common practice, and it can be done without any problems. However, there are a few things to keep in mind: - Make sure that the choke bean is compatible with the well. The choke bean should be made of the same material as the wellhead choke and should have the same orifice size. - Install the choke bean carefully. The choke bean should be installed so that it is flush with the wellhead choke. Do not overtighten the choke bean, as this could damage the wellhead choke. - Test the choke bean after installation. Make sure that the choke bean is functioning properly and that there are no leaks.

I injured myself on a service rig. Broke my leg really badly, had to get plates and screws in. 2 years later im still deemed unfit for roughneck work. Would well testing be a bit easier on my bad knee compared to roughnecking? I'm thinking of trying to get into well testing even though it doesn't pay as well as roughneck but maybe this is because it's lighter on the body? Easier?
@kwstn Жыл бұрын
Well testing is generally less physically demanding than roughnecking, but the suitability of the job for your injured leg depends on your specific medical condition. Consult a medical professional for advice.
