Completely NO NO NO Side Mirrors(For Parking mostly) don't need to include your vehicle at all that way you get the maximum angle . Best and only way is using the middle mirror angle view(Anything not in view of middle is too close for anything) in compilation with side mirrors & your eyes (Use your neck) in motion

This is completely and utterly wrong. You can just about completely eliminate blind spots by setting your mirrors correctly. Sit in the driver's seat, make sure its adjusted to your normal, comfortable driving position and set your mirrors in a way that no part of your car is visible in them unless you move your head over to look. When your head is on the headrest and you look in your mirrors, your car should not be visible. This way, you can see any car even when theyre in your blind spot. It works well for me

If your turning right and you stop level with kerb, then start to go when lights are on red in to box junction is it ok or not ?
@TheRealMartinDominik19 күн бұрын
If there are traffic signals for different directions, it is rather confusing that the red and amber lights do not show arrows.

Too many instructions… the learner learned very little. Ask finding questions, let the leaner think and make mistakes with your supervision then pull them up on it and ask how we can prevent this from happening again, that way they’re not relying on you to guide them all the time! When teaching manual, personally I take full responsibility for observations and making sure it’s safe, so the learner can focus on learning one thing at a time then once confidence has built I introduce MSM / MSPSL ETC ETC! Then once the leaner feels comfortable we then move on to junctions and pulling up on the left and moving off again using full observation by the leaner.

At least 25% of the view takes up the side of your car. There is no need to see any of it. It causes blind spots.

So near us is a set of traffic lights. On one side is a set of standard red, amber, green lights (no filter) and right next to it (on the same pole) is a set of red, amber, green filter lights (the filter for turning right). So if the standard set is showing green and the other set is not lit at all, can I turn right if it’s clear to do so?

Are you taking the micky in these videos. Example this time, one had on wheel a lot, left turn signal left on while yoi sat after a stop for a full minute. Hands crossing on wheel, no real explanation of why you would continue on the anber on approach to the TL etc.. just said in this video about right blindapt checks only need doing when been stationary, really?
@DriverTrainingLtd2 ай бұрын
@@jamiebutler9504 hiya thanks for the questions. One hand on the wheel, if the vehicle is under full control what is the problem? In a manual when you change gear you have one hand on the wheel. The book Driving the essential skills by the dvsa says “try driving with one hand” Signal left on - again what’s the problem with this? Is it confusing? No, does it cause anyone a problem? No Amber light - Highway Code - if stopping quickly at an Amber light may cause an accident with the vehicles behind it is safer to carry on through. So if you’re close to the light and it changes keep going. But this video isn’t about dealing with traffic lights Hands crossing on the wheel could you show me from any dvsa book where that is wrong? Is the vehicle under control? Yes did it cause a problem? No so what’s wrong with it?
@jamiebutler95042 ай бұрын
Hi, just watched this video on fully guided teaching. When you were doing turn rights, at on one turn, you stopped for oncoming traffic. Why did you then move off without a right mirror or blindspot check?
