Bitten at 12. I went undiagnosed until I was 56, after having a bartonella stroke. My health was destroyed. I was told I was nervous and put on tranquilizers at 12. Irt didn't help. Everyone thought I was a hypochondriac for years, despite decades of surgeries, damage and hospitalizations, disfiguring lesions and unrelenting pain. Please be aware that if you have Lyme, you very well may have coinfections, such as bartonella, babesia, which I also have. Bartonella can be deadly, as can Lyme and Babesia. After 8 years of treatment, I'm much better, but still journeying toward health. Naturopaths have saved me, such as Dr. Jacob Leone and Dr. Miriam Peachy. Both my children have been affected. I await the results of the House investigation into the Pentagon, about the releasing of bio-weaponized ticks into the American population from 1955 to 1970.

so sorry to hear that. I go through Lyme disease now. I went through terrible 7 months and only one doctor (private one) in my country found out I have Lyme, the rest were telling me it is stress related and I should take antidepressants. We knew with my husband it is not right and kept searching. I had terrible full body severe burning for 4 months not knowing what is going on and the doctors kept telling me I am fine and take a pill. it is so sad what is happening and how it destroys people. I now use spooky 2 rife machine as thanks to the rife machine the terrible burning stopped even though I still have many problems, I am hopeful that I am now on the right treatment. I wish you well and everyone who has Lyme disease. It is very hard and debilitating disease, mainly if one doesnt even know that they have it.

I came across this whilst desperately searching for answers. I watched all the way through....The end question to this lovely Doctor made me cry...Im still crying a mixture of lost hope and sadness after suffering for many many years 40 year up to now.... :( My GP is useless, looks at me as if I'm mad. I've managed to force my GP (Literally a few days ago) to book me a blood test for lymes however his attitude was horrible & openly gufunked the possibility of lymes, but I insisted because of the amount of years everything that has been wrong with me and continues to be wrong. Various tests I have had over the years, I'm always told come back as "Fine" or "Normal" or within expected allowances, except in the early years as a teen when doctors & hospitals could not decide what was wrong with me & after 18 months in & out of hospital & horrendous health issues (All symptoms of lymes) was simply told its an immune condition. Please please can someone direct me to a favourable UK based Doctor that I could get in touch with? Thankyou.

It took 36 years to diagnose my Lyme disease. Way to go CDC. What a crime this situation is. 2025 will mark the 50th year since the “mysterious arthritis like disease” hit Lyme, CT. They have a lot of explaining to do. Don’t hold your breath though. Read “Bitten” by Kris Newby as well as her other books on the topic for the rest of the story. Three months of Antabuse (Disufiram) is what finally pulled me out of that hell. So, where are the big foundations raising awareness and informing the public? Where’s the great American health care system? Why the cover up? Read “Bitten”.

Do they always transmit disease. I found a tick and pulled it off but didn’t get it enough i don’t think, saw it friday night and vet wasn’t open till monday so i decided to try myself but i think the head stayed in. I took him to the vet and the vet dismissed Lyme disease as a non issue. i’m still worried though cause i can’t work out if the dog is naturally getting more lethargic due to age or that the tick has transmitted something. Should I push for a lyme disease blood test or treatment just to be on the safe side? I can’t actually imagine my dog comfortably having its blood took 1) causes he’s a mad jack russell and 2) he’s a big wimp lol!

I got Lyme 1997 in Australia. Australian government still deny it exists there! Tried for years to get NHS diagnosis. Every doctor I saw dismissed all my horrific symptoms. By 2012 so poorly. Ditched the NHS and switched to holistic medicine to get well. I am not a U.K. lyme statistic despite bullseye rash and very severe flu at onset of infection. The tests do not work. I know numerous people with stories like mine. My Nhs diagnosis was fibromyalgia. How many chronic fatigue ME MS fibromyalgia patients actually have Lyme? Id say thousands.. rare?? I don’t think so. Denial? Yes. Corruption occurring? Yes ! Much

The most accessible piece of content I've seen on LD. Had my diagnosis from German testing, dismissed by NHS/HTD through retesting and absolute rubbishing of the German lab protocol. Thankfully nothing like as bad as your symptoms, but still feel like 10 years have been flattened by it. Likewise given the CFS/depression diagnosis. Congrats on this - hope it gets the airtime it deserves.

So powerful. Thank you for putting this together. I lost a dear friend when she was just 30 years old. Fit, sporty, talented and exceptionally kind. She never recalled a tick bite or bullseye radh. Shr had been misdiagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 11 years. Finally she identified the Lyme herself after reading stories of other sufferers, which was confirmed by a test which she had to keep requesting until finally the doctors allowed her. She went to Germany for intensive antibiotic treatment but it was too late and made her even more sick. She couldn't hold down work and some days had to be carried to the bathroom by her dad. In the end, just as you said in your video, she saw no future for herself and took her life to end her sentence of suffering. She is often in my thoughts still. I really wish you the best and hope you make a recovery.

Very real, and relatable to those of us with chronic Lyme. If you can't afford a decent private test nhs won't help you and probably label you with something like fibromyalgia. It's devastating and needs recognition in the same way long covid has now become recognized...

That was my situation too. The reason this happens is the Lyme bacteria suppress your body’s immune response so you don’t develop the IGg antibodies. It also means you probably got co-infections along with the Borrelia (Lyme) infection. If you are Igm positive you have an active infection. The NHS don’t recognise this. If you’re in the UK Google Dr Lambert, infectious diseases specialist based in Dublin. I am getting well now that I’m on proper treatment for Lyme. I hope you see this and get some help.

This!!! This is what and how I try and explain it to everybody... but fail miserably ... the’ but what are the symptoms? Isn’t that just life/menopause/ stress/etc etc.... ‘. And ‘at least it’s not cancer/ms/Parkinson’s/dementia.... etcetc’ but this... THIS is exactly it! Wish every GP and patient friends and family could watch this! Just pop it in before the news.. a couple of minutes to flash before their eyes... and then maybe... maybe... seeing something so perfectly explained and presented in such a beautiful way would help them realise how it is. This is it. In a nutshell. This is why I’m broke. This is why you don’t see me around any more. This is why I don’t have a career... a passport... a life! Anymore. My life goal is now just to get in remission ... I’ve tried for sooo long .. when I get there.. it never lasts.. I’m always back at square one.. just a little less focused... a little less believing... a little less optimistic.. more broke.. more dis allusioned, more exhausted if that’s possible... more alone... but we still stumble on. Thank you for making this. And may your fight and health persevere!

6 years later and nhs still don't have an understanding of Lyme disease and coinfections. The tests nhs carry out for Lyme disease is of a lower accuracy than is needed, yet this is what they go by. When presented with private blood tests and a private doctor from England with a confirmed diagnosis of Lyme disease and coinfections, the nhs refuse to put Lyme on patient records and refuse the treatment recommended and requested, including scans of the heart and head as signs and symptoms show these areas among other have been affected. NHS need to change their view and education with Lyme disease and coinfections

Loved this presentation, SO helpful, so informative, so wish there was a transcript to print off, IS there a way to print off a transcript?? Only confused by one thing, in regards to climate change/geo-engineering , does Horowitz really believe in our gov't/air force, seeding the skies to deflect the sun is a good thing? i'm very confused by this, wish he would clarify that, because that is so contrary to what most LLMD's believe!

I'm sorry, but I reject climate change excuses; which will become the all new pandemic to restrict movement and freedom due to this nonsense. There is a whole other side of this equation to Dr.'s "climate change", try listening to the Ice Age Farmer (for regenerative farming), and Dan Wigington from GeoEngineering watch. Numerous unhealthy bad side effects of seeding our skies. This is NOT the answer.

Nonsense to suggest a rise in Ticks is linked to a rise in Deer numbers. Any mammal or bird is a potential host for Ticks. Most likely climate change is the reason.

You did in your 2017 Lyme disease conference video. You explained everything so well that it finally made sense. I was able to get the help I needed to get diagnosed. I am still in treatment approaching 4 years on daily multiple IV medications. I am available for any studies. I have been on Dapspone but didn't respond. Probably Bartonella or babesia. Figuring it out with a Doctor you know in San Francisco. Thank you so much again for caring about us!!!! No words can express my gratitude!!! You give me hope in such a dark place!!! FYI IV Ketamine Infusions have been life saving for Pain, depression, anxiety and PTSD. Strongly recommend!
