Glad I could help out man, I wonder if the large rpm drop from the 1-3 was too much load and lifted the head.

Just found your channel build similar caliber cars myself. I would work on your spool time i. Conjunction with controlling your transmission pressures. Be sure at that the way your spooling you will be changing thrust bearings and cranks. Its a rough way to play
@HighNoonRacing4 күн бұрын
Pressures are fixed in trans. And we a baby 4.8 spooling the 92/103 so when she goes we go bigger hahahaha

Im pretty surprised you are still running a stock intake at that boost level. Usually you sneeze tgem apart at some point. Nice buuld and video style
@HighNoonRacing5 күн бұрын
Thanks man, I've not had any issues with the "TBSS" intake, been running it for a few years now.
@HighNoonRacing5 күн бұрын
i want one of them Holley high rise intakes but we are in the poverty phase of the build 🤣😂

There is a internal bypass on the walboro pumps that won’t let it keep up around 80psi if your vacuum boost reference regulator at 58psi with boost it’s over 80 at 22psi
@HighNoonRacing5 күн бұрын
So you're saying i need a third pump right hahahah?
@diygaragetx4 күн бұрын
@@HighNoonRacing No, he's saying if you a 58psi base fuel pressure and 22psi boost, your fuel pressure will be 80psi, which is where it will start internally bypassing fuel pressure. once that happens, your injector duty cycle will climb until it can't any more. Then, poof. There's 2 different walbro 450 pumps, one rated at 82psi and one at 110 or something like that. Obviously, you'll need the higher rated one(s).

Everyone is an expert until they’re at the burnout box, starting to do all kinds of wrongs lol, staging is not easy for someone who has never done it before, Ive been to the track countless of times and my foot starts shaking at the staging light every time I havent gone in a while so dont worry!! Keep going back and get better every time!!

I was having trouble with mine going 1-3 using holley and 4l80. I had to lead the 1-2 shift a lot and set it lower than the 2-3 to keep it from going 1-3
@HighNoonRacing9 күн бұрын
Thabks for the info, Somethings definitely not right, I'm going to verify everything in the trans this weekend before considering it to be the ecu, only because this ecu is pulled out of my last build that did not have the delayed issue at all.
@TheDevin9189 күн бұрын
@ I had to lead it by 1600 rpm. Another buddy of mine has to do the same. Were both low 5 second cars though
@HighNoonRacing9 күн бұрын
@@TheDevin918 right now it's leading by like 1000 rpm, to the shift. wild i've never had this happen on a 4l80, what trans and valve body are you running?

Kinda thinking about what you said " to keep it from going 1-3" and thinking back to the data log it's almost like it went 1-3, it was in 2 but not for more than a second.

The low timing can cuz excess heat/coolant temps too. Honestly 10.8 strait pass is good for first out. My first goals is 600whp and 10sec pass but it won't see the track till everything's working well.
