I was so distracted by him writing backwards so effortlessly I still don’t know how to convert LogMAR to Snellen.

Hi, do you know if there is any conversion metrics from MTF score to postential Snellen acuity

Hello, There are few predictive models for that. (I have personally not worked on any of them). You can find them in pubmed. One such example www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4871088/

@@eliteshankaran thank you. Will go through it. I went through your video explaining conversion of SF to Snellen... great topic. Also your explanation of MAR as calculated from SF was great .

This is very helpful. Could you share your slide with the calculations? It is pretty hard to see them on the video. Thanks!

Joel. Thanks for your interest. My apologies for the poor video quality. This video is couple of years old and am afraid I don't have the actual slides. Are you an Optometry student?

@@eliteshankaran Actually I am a low vision researcher with a PhD in human factors that works at Vispero. Surprisingly the contrast sensitivity charts do not supply these equations in their instructions. I have not found these in the vision research either. I think the terms are throwing me a little (i.e. CS, LCS, CT). Their meaning is different in my discipline. Do you know where can see the formal definition? If you can please send me your slides, I would love to see the equations to ensure I recorded them accurately. Thanks for the video and all your help! [email protected]
