hi my question is i have been doing hiit training for quite a few months at first it feels really great, im seeing improvement en route to achieving my pb 4.30 for 1500m .after the comp i had continue the hiit training but soon i feel like my performance had plateud n hardly improve while having some injuries n tiredness. can anyone please reply me pls pls pls

Jog slow 100 kms a week. You will break your pb eventually

For you an everybody else in the same situation. When you get to that point, it's time to take a rest. Hiit training is useless for middle distance or long distance running, your pb came for your natural talent not for a good training. Get a proper training plan with long and short series, a long run a week and a proper rest day a week. Your will improve a lot without injuries.

Bring physical education back. 1 hr a day, 5 days a week, all 4 years of high school. 2 performance tests a year. Colored short system for grade, purple satin for median, gold for top performers. Events: 34 ft triple jump 24 bar dips (parallel bars) 18 chin ups, palms away 2 different runs for time 150 yd swim for time 20 one-handed burpees (one armed push-up, stand, jump) in 30 seconds for gold 20 ft rope from seated position, arms only, 10 seconds for gold
