Basic Attacks deal really weak damage, so its possible to break the boss before you max BP and finish it off

@@IosLocarth Haha, Its all good. Trust me, I did put her with Surpassing Power before but due to lack of Lion Dance and Peacock Strut is difficult to make her do damage. Not to mention Arkar's Coil while using her Latent Power is insanely good. Tin Horn is great to refill the Latent Power of characters. The downside of Inventor skills is able to use one time and then you need to repair. But they are really good for support.

@@Eduardo19201 honestly that's why I usually didn't bother with Inventor all that much. The multi tool helps it quite a lot but the cooldowns still make it a bit weird to use . Also nice Adine pfp, great to see other AWSW fans in the wild

@@IosLocarth Yeah, The no mana mechanic on it does sucks and you will mostly likely never use Inventor skills on the same battle. Adine is my favorite in that game.

I did a second playthrough no armor, it should satisfy if you are around 5-15 levels below

Well, There is nothing to do after Galdera. You pretty much done with the game.

Yup, You can defeat him without doing the 1hp mechanic but pray for rng.

Octopath Traveler always was a game based on grinding especially if you want to take final boss with 8 characters. I always farmed EXP on high level zones, get the advanced sub jobs before going to story again.

I have level 90s and I haven't even touched Throne's story yet

Galdera is harder in 2, but characters are more OP in 2

@@eduardomora5244 well yeah but that wasn't what I said. In the first game I struggled way more with the first phase than the second phase. In the second game I was blitzing the first phase and struggling way more with the second phase

If it wasn't for the game mechanics Lore wise, osvald is swole enough to flatten most NPCs to mug them.

To be fair, They actually made the divine skill much worth to use. Elemental Barrage on scholar is quite strong. Themenos with his latent and Barrage can reduce thd enemy's shield to nothing. And purple chest removed is the best, I really don't want to have a certain character on my team just to open chest.

You can buy pomegranate leaves in the black market, and there is an accessory you can equip for permanent advanced magic. I just like that while they aren’t busted anymore they are more interesting.

you can also buy P leaves for regular jerky in chapter 1 with Ochette. If you get a step ahead early and merchant early as well Castii is broken. Same with getting hikari the rusty staff and armsmaster early. You can buy strengthening and diffusing serums at other towns as well so shes broken and needs no resources if you set her up well.

I don't remember their equipments already since I only had 3 DPS and the rest goes support mode but i will go for mostly important ones. Galdera made me lose my sanity that I took all of insanity on level grinding

I could have done the same thing by using Sorcerer Cyrus, But I was feeling very meh to do that and just Cheesed with Warmaster. I wonder if the 1 HP passive works on Sorcerer.

The x100 EXP is basically a speedrun on your game, like everthing gets easy to kill

Tbh it's a bit of a noob trap. I used Sorcerer Cyrus but eventually gave it to Primrose instead. Cyrus makes a better Cleric in all honesty.

It is legitimately one of the toughest battles I have ever played in a JRPG. It took me years to beat Galdera and had to go play several other JRPGs to get past his first phase.
