Literally my most used loco in the game Railroader, such a gorgeous engine.

@@PereMarquette1223 Yeah it hadn't been used since 3254 last ran in 2012, so it made sense to use it once again for people who weren't fortunate to hear it when 3254 was in its former glory.

I've been waiting for this day. The Woodstown Central offers a ride that isn't too short, and it features some of our rural landscapes and tidal estuaries. Now it includes steam. Wonderful!

At 8:25, 13:15, 13:29, 14:54, 16:14, 17:00, and 17:03, those are the sounds of 734’s whistle that always stuck with me the most as a kid!

Eversince I moved from Alabama to Altoona for school in 2022, I’ve always looked forward to seeing it snow during the Santa Trains trips before I visit family. 2022 I saw my first sight of a steam locomotive in the snow, the year after didn’t have that luck. Hopefully I do in some way this season. I don’t care what people saw about snow. Christmas not only feels so wierd without it, but it’s just a beautiful sight to look at. God makes the best of everything, especially Snow

New Hope & Ivyland 40 is a cool operating steam locomotive over at the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad, it was one of the four steam locomotives that had operated at this heritage railroad.

I grew up in the blue and red house in the 70's that makes an appearance on the right. From our knowledge, it used to be the general store and post office in the little town of Tolna. I still drive by there and took the train ride when it went all the way to New Freedom and took the shortened version 2 years ago.

This railroad just had a huge turnout for its 140th birthday party on September 7, 2024. Hundreds of riders turned out for rides of only $1.40 and free ice cream and cake. They lost money, but they wanted to say "thanks" to the community and people from around the country who have supported it since 1884. It was a lot of run. I rode two of the four trains.

I was on a Lerro charter on the East Broad Top last October and I will NEVER do another one . Pete is a poor tour operator with little organizing skills. They were cutting tall brush DURING the charter on my dime . This type work needed to be complete way BEFORE the charter !! The night shoot was a total joke and chaos was the major theme. This line , though short , has MANY varied photo sites , yet we spent hours on the big fill at Runk Road. At a fee of $ 850 .00 , I expected MUCH more . NEVER AGAIN Pete .

That's my whistle I sold to them. It is a Southern long bell three- chime last used on Southern's Asheville Division and likely cast at the foundry at Asheville NC. I think it's one of the prettiest sounding whistles you'll ever hear.
