Another good story is of James Fairless who died in the battle of New Orleans, his sone, Andrew Jackson Fairless was my GGgrandfather. Thats the story anyway 🙃 ... As a side note .. My sisters daughter married a DuPont ... now we have some work to do ... maybe we are connected again

These evening parades are available to the public in the summer. It is a wonderful thing to experience. Please attend a parade if you can. They are held behind the Commandant's house in DC.
