Originally that was the thought. For this build I wanted to go this way so for trails and errors. I figured this to be the better way fira6then build a brass tender. Would much rather make mistakes on this then on brass.

We ran into that at a slip at creagen tunnel, had to move the curve 22 ft, we could not move the tunnel. Tighten up the curvature.

I really like it. Even though the flashing double lights is non prototypical. Runs very well. Steps are a little fragile and the bearing caps can fall off. So those are things to watch for.other than that great product

I have that many have changed out the rear pilot. It came with both. I chose the 2 axle setup iver the single. I will say that the 2025 is one pulling boss. I've had 20 + scale scratch built cars behind her. Pulled with no problems at all. Thank you for being here in the channel and hanging out.

Well it does but.its actually predates gargraves track. It's a very old school method that I really like. I've had to relearn a lot of things working with tubular. This was one of them.

He's a very loving puppy. Only 8 months old .loves people and children. Not a mean bone in his body. Dud I mention he loves to cuddle too. He's a hoot.

Actually the wheels set in these cars came with 3 rail wheels in them. At some point they were modified. However, these were 1950s scratch build s that had o scale parts installed. The problem I found is the trucks hit the steps and that causes derailment. If I had larger curves on the truxk that problem wouldn't happen. For now I'm working around that issue. Can't wait till I can get the full set up and running properly.

Oh the thinner wheels set do fine on the lionel fastrack. Well other than switches. Atlas track does well too. Tubular it has issues. Then again change the wheel sets, it goes away other than a minor spacing has to be done.
