So the 6min is your A pedal in the (1) chord fret.

Can we just go to the Fret we need the minor in and use our A pedal? I’m trying the think of an easy way to rmbr it. Ok,we can just stay in the 1 fret and get our 2min. Chord by pressing B&C and playing the 7 string?

Well I bought a new Ultra from a friend who worked at the shop for GFI. Beautiful gold and black SD10 4x5. Plays like butter and sounds great.

Aaron, I came back for another listen. I want a different reverb and delay for pedal steel. Everyone was hot on the Nux Alantic but it seems they have problems having to reboot the pedal. My old Boss RV3 works but sounds dated and not enough control. This pedal seems to be a decent one. I tried the Sonicake Levitate and sent it back because it had a serious hum on any power supply I own. I'm ready to try a better pedal.

Really nice intro!! I like the use of the 2nd string which im trying to learn how to use more. I use it more with the D lower than just the Eb which you have on your 4th string lower. I don't have the C# though except on my 5th string raise.

Hello Aaron. Sir how would I go about putting splits on my F lever that I raise 4 and 8 to F#. I know very little about splits...and what floor pedal would work with that split. Thanks for any Info that you can share. Bill Sutton.

I just signed up for the one dollar per month membership. How do I get access to the backing track for this video?
@SteelPicking
@SteelPicking 9 күн бұрын
Thank you for the support! The tab and backing track are available to tiers 2 and 3 at our Patreon site in the description. KZbin does not offer a good way to offer those materials directly here, unfortunately. The KZbin membership is for early access and ad-free versions of videos as well as the monthly update post. Feel free to email us with any further questions using the email address in the video description. Thank you again and keep picking!

@@SteelPicking OK, I have upgraded to tier 2 and finally found the backing track for this video. It took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to locate it. Is there an easy way to get to a backing track for an associated video that you are watching other than going to your website and going through all of your backing tracks till I finally find the one that I'm looking for? That is a very time-consuming process.

Sorry for the confusion! There should be an index of all content pinned at the top of the main Patreon page. There is also a search feature on the Patreon page where you can either search for the specific video title or you can search for " Index " which will bring you to the full index showing every video, tab, and backing track that is available within a list. Thank you again and keep picking!

@@SteelPicking Thanks Aaron. I think I have figured it out. I am a true beginner. Just got my Jackson Steel Maverick HD about 10 days ago. Love it and especially enjoyed woking with Dawn, great customer service. I have looked at lots of videos and your approached is the best yet. I have accomplished a more with your approach than anything else I have tried. Looking forward to many more lessons with you. Thanks for putting up with all my questions.

What can be said about Lloyd other than an amazing creative player. Seen him many times and love his work. He describes it as simple but we know better. So many great records have his signature that highlighted a musical genius. Thanks Aaron for giving us an example of a cool Lloyd lick.

I’ve been playing for 9 years and just learned the 5 chord was 1,2&5 string. I’ve always thought it was only B pedal D lever and any of the grips.We can learn so much with Aaron if we’ll just slow down and take the time to listen and take mental as well as physically writing the notes down. These kinds of lessons will help get you out of a “Wreck” or if you’ve gotten lost in a ride. Thank you so much Aaron. I sold my 92 Mullen in March of 93 and am getting a new Rittenberry one day next week.I can’t wait to apply all of these things you’ve taught us. I haven’t been behind a steel in 16 months,& boy am I ready.

So already have the 2 completely engaged before mashing the A pedal.Can you do something similar with the 1 & 6 string ?
@SteelPicking

Good thought. Yes just think unison . Also think of a 12 string guitar you get the octave sound and it makes the note ie G# open sound fuller.

forgive me k=in advance for probably the dumbest questions you are showing tab notation and my question is on this example or any written this way after 6 and 8 are strung your bar is fret 10 then you carry that to the next note 6 and 8 with B pedal is there a block on the sound or do you even strum the 6 and 8 again then you go to fret 8 is there blocking in any part of this? How do I know that I let it ring while doing those other things or if I strum again. Im a super newbie. thank YOU. thank you for making the videos. In time at my own pace I hope to be joining your class Kathy

I have pro tab on my computer and that is what I use now. In that I will normally denote strum or mute above the effected string. Also on my videos I try to verbally say this during the explanation or the lesson. It takes a little bit of practice to get the tab down, but using your ear will help the most. Hope this helps!
