The one thing i don't understand is why there no scene between Aaron and Robert after the graveyard, like there is fight about what Diane said.

Why does Robert keep on looking at Aaron every few minutes when Andy was giving his speech? It seems like Robert is worried about Aaron and what he might think.

Why is Robert looking sort of unhappy instead of happy?

Robert is so lucky to have Aaron there to support and comfort him; although Aaron is still upset that Robert has pleaded guilty to attacking Lee and not allowing his sister to lie for him in court, in this scene, Aaron is starting to understand why Robert did it and hug him like he will never let him go, implying Aaron is sort of supporting Robert's decision even though he thinks it is not right. How Robert pause for a bit, suggests he is afraid of spending his whole life in prison but, cannot bring himself to tell Aaron he is scared so, asked a question instead to make Aaron find out for himself that his husband is scared and worried of what is going to happen next.

I have to say that Robert and his brother, Andy are getting on pretty well at the back when Adam was talking to Victoria about a surprise present.

I thought Robert is with Chrissie now, why did he just say he "love Aaron"? It looks like as if Robert is having two relationships at the same time, one with Chrissie and another with Aaron. It sounds like Robert thinks the only way to get through to Aaron is a beating from him.

Rebecca is right for one thing, though: Robert did tell her he thought his marriage was over with Aaron because of what happened between them when Robert went to visit him in prison. Aaron did not even want to know what happened back at home, does not care about Liv (what she has gone through) and completely forgotten about the appeal (use drugs e.g. spice to help deal with prison life). The only reason why Aaron wanted to be back with Robert was because Robert made him see sense about taking the drugs so, he stopped taking "spice". I think Aaron first caused the rift between them two and Robert decided for himself what comes next.

Honestly, although it is Robert's fault that he made her pregnant but Rebecca also has a part to play in this whole situation; she could have stopped Robert from sleeping with her but she did not, she could have just told Robert she was deciding to keep the baby and she did not even tell him he will be the father of their child. Robert had no idea that Bex was going to keep the baby, he thought she was going to have an abortion like she did last time; it was on her mind this time however, she faced so much pain last time and she could not face the same feeling again. I understand why Aaron will be so upset about this, Rebecca is going to be in their life forever; what Robert did will always be there to remind Aaron he will only cheat again. In my opinion, I think both parties are to blame: Robert and Rebecca. Robert will just have to try to support Bex's decision and Aaron will have to stay away for the time being to let Rob have some bonding time with his baby (whichever sex it is). Rebecca did not even tell Victoria who was friends with Rob's little sister. Bex's baby is going to be Vic's niece/nephew; it is going to be part of Vic's life as well so, she should have told her. She is lucky that her only sister, Chrissie decided to support her and look after her child.

You have to understand that Robert was doing his best to get rid of Rebecca, he even admitted he does not want anything to do with the "20%" share that they have agreed on before. Apparently, Rebecca is threatening to Robert that if he does not help her break Lachlan out of jail, she will tell Aaron what was going on between her and Robert, even though Robert admitted it was "nothing".

I do not get why Robert and Aaron are wearing their wedding rings, they have not got engaged until later during the seasons. Why are they are wearing them in 2016?

What does Robert mean by "you won't have to buy another gift again"?

I did not know that Andy killed their father but, I did know he was somehow involved in the fire that killed Sarah. Then, sometime after Sarah's death, Robert find out it was his brother who was behind the fire so, confronted him and that caused tension between the two brothers until when Andy was getting married to Katie, Robert agreed to try and keep it civil.

I love how Robert is relating every single detail back to what happened to his mother when he was young; he does not want Seb to experience the similar thing to him, he wants Seb to have a Mum by his side this time and look after him (wants Rebecca back). Robert wants Seb to grow up having a Mum with him but with Bex missing for a while, Robert is starting to become stressed and keep on having feelings of guilt all the time, beating himself up for not doing more. Robert is lucky to have Aaron by his side to comfort, support and look after him; without Aaron just being there, things would have been a lot different. At the start of the scenes way before this scene above, Robert admitted that he is "happy to have Liv and Aaron back home with him again"-this implies Robert is showing gratitude and appreciation that they are present to care for him, mostly Aaron. Robert is really worried about Bex as he kept on having nightmares at night-time about Bex and Seb, this suggests both of them means a lot to him.

I think Robert knows what just happened with Lee was not self-defence, it was a fight he had wanted to happen just to get Lee away from Victoria's life, Robert hates him and hates him even more when he keep on making comments about Vic and her baby. I think Robert knows deep down what is going to happen to him, prison; but, Aaron does not think losing Robert is a price worth paying, if Robert is going away Vic will lose him too so, it does not worth take the risk. The hug Robert wanted from Aaron was to show how much he loved him and if anything is going to happen to him, Robert will know that Aaron have his heart deep down, Robert said his solicitor was "surprisingly positive" however, it is more to it than JUST that sentence but maybe, he does not want to worry Aaron.

You could see from this scene that Robert felt so emotional because they have so much rift between them over the last couple of years and at the time he wants to make it civil with him and Andy, Andy is leaving, leaving Robert upset since they may never get to make up properly.

However, another problem is Robert was planning to propose to Aaron but, it was ruined when they have to teach Lachlan a valuable lesson. Robert's face shows and says it all about what just happened to stop him asking the question. I think before Aaron turned up at the barn, Robert was maybe a bit nervous of asking the Q, he insists he is not bottling it up but, I think he might have otherwise he would have straightforward ask the Q no matter what the situation (interrupted by Lachlan).

I can't believe that after all the things Aaron told Robert for kidnapping Ryan, that he decided to follow Robert's actions and kidnap Lachlan and put him in the back of his boot. I thought Aaron would be so much better than Robert.

When did Robert nearly lost Aaron before?

I'm so sorry to say this, but Chas has taken it way too far; just because you are hurt, in pain for your lost little daughter (one you will never meet), it does not mean that when other family members are giving a reading from something that is sort of related to Grace, Chas has to stop them and say that she does not like what they are reading.

It's strange to see Chas and Liv laugh a bit through their tears whilst Robert is not showing any emotion at all (probably he kept what he is really, truly feeling inside, don't show on the outside). It's really nice to see Robert just being present with Aaron at the hospital when they were waiting on news for Grace and now in the next two scenes: funeral and buried services.

I think I know what they are saying without watching the last part of the scene; though I do not want to give it away to anyone. The way Robert and Aaron looked at each other with a softness touch and smiling at one another, implies they have similar thinking and they are happy to make it official for them. They did have a wedding before but, that was not an 'official wedding', Robert suggested it to Chas so that Aaron can have something to look forward to and be happy for that one night evening stand-happily getting married before he left for prison. I have to say they are the lucky ones to have second weddings as it shows us how much Robert loves Aaron, how much he cares for him, wanting to make the day special for him and wanting to show him how much he means to him inside.

This 'kid' is such an amazing actor. When I first saw him in Emmerdale I was immediately taken by how good his acting was, and he's just kept improving year after year. In this episode, we haven't exactly got the most exciting and ground breaking story, but he's still so, so good at conveying the depths of his emotions and feelings. I've watched him right through to the present and I truly believe he's the best soap actor I´ve ever seen". And of course, he went on to win an unprecedented 3 Best British Soap Actor awards! He can bring even the most mundane of situations to life!

I would like to point out that Robert is the same number of years older than Aaron that Chrissie was to Robert i didnt see anyone saying anything about their age difference.

I feel so sorry that Robert's voice is breaking, much deeper and worse than Aaron's voice. At least Aaron can still talk but, Robert talking makes it feel like he is going to lose his voice in any minute.

Aaron just does not get it; Robert was ONLY celebrating a business deal with Rebecca (she begged him to help her out at her meeting with a potential investor/buyer) so, he did not do anything untoward. Aaron is just jealous of Robert being with Rebecca all the time and most of that time did not spend it with him. Robert actually did not lie to Aaron about Bex.

Just to let you guys know that it was not meant to be a Christmas-themed wedding but, woodland-rustic wedding decided by Liv. Faith was the one who made it festive.

The amount of Rebecca hate and Robert love makes me wonder if we're all watching the same show. Like tbf I don't think Bex is any better than Robert as a human being, but only one of those two had a loyalty to Aaron and it wasn't Rebecca. What she did was morally wrong, but she owes nothing to Aaron - his husband on the other hand did. And the always blame the woman, whether she's the cheater, the mistress, or the victim, narrative is quite ridiculous. I find Robert horrible and his true colors always come out no matter how much he tries to change - but I do like the character in a love to hate him way. But I don't care if others like him, but turning him into a victim in this situation is just incorrect. He made his bed and now he had to lie in it. And I really don't understand why people feel bad for him. He had to text her to come over and then lie to her and beg her to sleep with him after she said no several times after all, which was all very pathetic but all were decisions he made. She didn't trick him, if anything, he tricked her by telling her he broke up with Aaron when he hadn't.

I do not think Aaron have thought of putting Robert first before Liv; Robert has kindly and thoughtfully enough to book the two of them a weekend holiday away and Aaron just wanted to put Liv first before Robert. I feel so sorry for Robert having to cancel the trip, Aaron should at least consider and thank him rather than pushing him away and still stick with the agreement of Liv staying with them for a while. This is the main reason why Robert look disheartened.
