I work for Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greater Canton, and our office is in Massillon, which is slightly ironic, but it works. I live in the country, so I can't say much for a hometown and how it compares to the city of champions. The nearest town- like place is too small to be considered a village. I have met some wonderful champions in this city. I mean that 100% seriously. However, the roads are not champion roads in some areas. Since I began working here 5+ years ago, I can only remember about 1 month when Wales wasn't being worked on, and it is still not very good😮

Stumbled across this recently. It is really helping make my commute TO Massillon pass a little faster each day. I do remember some of these events from my teen years #burnoutonthewaytocamp, etc. This has been so much fun to listen to.

I am all right with people calling themselves a Fur-Parent. Honestly it doesn't bother me. A lot of people have pets because whatever circumstances are not allowing them to have kids and they have the desire to care for something daily. I don't think you need to actually birth something to consider yourself the caregiver of it and take pride in that act. But like anything, there are going to be people who take it over the top. As long as they don't start allowing dogs to be claimed as dependents, I think it's a live and let live kind of situation. I think a majority of the population is not fooled and still respects the position of human-parenthood more, there's no harm lol.
