I got one gifted to me, for Christmas. It was ordered through Amazon. Everything seems the same as the ones in this video, but mine has a small hygrometer that is next to where you put the water. Is mine an older or newer model? I don't care either way. I'm just curious.

I used neon universal gas lighter refill 11x premium butane. Is that the correct one? It's very hard to see the fuild in the window.

It came empty so putting fuel in it started shooting out almost immediately which is suppose to mean the lighter is full. Looking at the fuel window there is very little fuel to be seen plus I've only managed to get it to light a few times. HELP

Best lighter I've ever had, though it's super hard to find.

I got mine on eBay for $16. GREAT lighter! Huge fuel tank good punch and nice mag draw tool. The cap has a very smooth and positive flip to it. Has some heft to it so it feels positive in the hand and won’t tip over when using the cigar rest. Exceeded my expectations!

Hi Scott. In your video you mention often the high accuracy of this hygrometer. In the product description however, it's mentioned Accuracy (RH) ±8%, which makes it basically useless for the intended purpose. I purchased this two years ago and have now the possibility to compare the humidity readings with a professional sensor and can confirm that the readings are completely off. I also tried to find a calibration procedure, but was unable to find any manual online (there is no manual in the box...). For over 40$ this was for me a complete waste of money!

Seeing that the humidity percentage can vary by as much as + - 8 is absurdly insane and useless! With that said you're much better off by getting the HumidMeter by CigarMedics $ $29.99.

I do not recommend this if you plan to use this in your humidor. The hygrometer setting is off by 9 degrees (over). TISFA recommended to perform the salt test to recalibrate it. I have never purchased a DIGITAL hygrometer and had to recalibrate it. The reading to test the cigar's humidity level is fine. However, it is not worth the money for just testing the cigar.

I am having issues keeping my humidor from going dry. any tips on fixing this issue?

I have the same but it's not made of leather. Mine is made of hard and very robust black plastic like a PELICAN case. Use BOVEDA humidifing pack instead of the one included in the package.

Best travel case out there. Just make sure if you use boveda you use an 84% and id leave it in there 7 days then switch to your desired humidity. If you dont season it, it will eat boveda's. The wood membrane has to absorb so much water before it will hold your desired humidity. If you have questions ask me. Ill help you
