Fun fact, I asked Rom de Prisco, the man that made this music, for the early NFS games what gear he was using at the time. For bass sounds and arpeggios, he uses a Yamaha An1x analogue modeling synthesizer on this, makes the music fit even more over a Yamaha-made super car. 😁

Had a c20xe when i was 20, nice motor, then got VR6 2.8 was also good motor, but then i bought K20a and then f20c, these motors are far more advanced than the VR6 and the c20xe, no comparison

5:00 hey, I know this one... "Sirius 909" by Ron Di Prisco - My favorite out of all menu songs in "Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit". Oh, nostalgia... Brings back my childhood memories from mid 2000's (despite being a late 90's game kkkk ) Now that I think about it, given the shots in this video and the image quality it makes perfect sense to use this song here, the video style looks a lot like the car showcases in NFS2 and NFS3. Those well made showcases probably took time and effort to make, but it really set the game on a different ground from others released later now that I look back on it from 2020. The kind of games full of the car's history portrayed in vintage styling that the younger ones will only know many years from now. Good thing I bought my games back on time kkkk

Europeans did make some good ones, but before American taste in high performance 4 doors, all of Europe's sedans were pitifully, glacially, slug in wet cement, the speed of hair turning grey, comically, hazardous on U.S. roads, fall asleep while driving if not for the fear of onramps, to go with jeers from motorist who don't respect you for being so limp wristed, slow.
