Thinking about grabbing this. Question for ya, how tight is the back of it when the tailgate is closed? How much of a gap between this and the closed tailgate? I am looking to add a little security so someone can't just break the window and reach in and grab stuff. I typically have larger pelican cases, so it's not like my cargo is small bags. But I can't find any pictures with this rack and the closed hatch. Thank you!

I just bought a bottle of the AromorAll Extreme Wheel & Tire cleaner today to give it a try. Your video looks like it should be just as good a product as the Turtle Wax HyperFoam. All you need to do is add to pieces of foam and cut it to height and glue it to the bottom side of the board. The foam sits on the left and right side of the spare tire And supports the middle of the board.

Nice haul! Love exploring junkyards. You might have some good luck with OBS ford truck parts as well: the fuel reservoirs, interior trim pieces, and definitely interior door panels in good shape are always sought after. And center caps for the wheels.

OBS? Thanks for the tips! Heading to a different yard Friday, just went to the one in the video today...uploading the video tonight or tomorrow.
@roryhovey74752 ай бұрын
@@garrettxowens OBS refers to Old Body Style, the change in ford styling from the old boxy ones to the more curved off designs of the 90s into the 2000s. Lots of people still drive them because of their mechanical operation, and simple to fix design. if you found out what parts are sought after on these vehicles, like the original poster mentioned a few, there's some profitable items if you can find them in good condition.
