Underrated greatness collides. Jody Stephens and Alex with The Poisies Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow. It's in the stars and I'm grateful to be queued in. Great post.

This is a fabulous LP. If you didn't know it was the Cowsills you'd say this band was destined for greatness. Listen to the first track and you'll be hooked - so many great songs here.

This is an awesome pop rock song. I wonder if Joey wrote it. He owns it whether or not he did. Excellent video too. Thank you for posting!

Love this song, and the entire Global album! I’ll be at their Vegas show that night, and am excited to finally own Global Plus! Thank you, Omnivore, for bringing the Cowsills music back, the older and the new (Rhythm of the World is sublime).

WOW ! AND, WOW AGAIN ! --------FROM THE CLASSIC ALBUM, " SUNFLOWER " , SUMMER OF '70. I WAS 23 Y/O, HEADING TO 24 IN SEPTEMBER. -----------SUCH A SHAME B.W. WASN'T THERE, BUT I'LL GUESS, HE WAS ASKED. I CANNOT TELL WHO THE GUY SITTING IN THE CHAIR IS , HOPING THAT WAS NOT JEFF FOSKETT, BUT I SIMPLY COULD NOT TELL. ------------BEAUTIFULLY DONE. MY ONLY COMMENT IS THAT I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE GONE HIGH AT THE ENDING INSTEAD OF LOW, BUT MAYBE THAT'S JUST ME. ---------OMG, JUSTYN LOOKS SO MUCH LIKE HIS FATHER, IT IS REALLY DISCONCERTING. I HAD THE HONOR OF MEETING MY ALL-TIME #1 BEACH BOY---------CARL--------WAY BACK IN THE SUMMER OF '76, IN DENVER, AT OLD MILE-HIGH STADIUM. I MANAGED A " BACKSTAGE PASS " , MET CARL, & WE TALKED FOR MAYBE 3-4 MINUTES. HE WAS A REAL GENTLEMAN, & EVEN ASKED ME WHAT MY #1 BY THE BOYS, WAS [ " DWB " ] . I ALSO HAD TIME TO STAND & WATCH DENNIS & KAREN LAMM -WILSON. OMG, SHE WAS GORGEOUS & DENNIS HAD THAT CHARISMA EVERY GIUY ONLY DREAMED OF HAVING . IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO NOT SEE HIM ; THE GUY WASN'T THAT TALL, MAYBE 70 INCHES, BUT DAMN, HE REALLY WAS THE DUDE OF DUDES ! ---------THAT SUMMER, I WAS 29 Y/O, FEARING THAT LIFE WOULD END AT 30 -------BUT SEEING DENNIS GAVE ME SOME KIND OF DISTANT HOPE, THERE WAS LIFE IN THE 30'S ! -----------------MJL, 78 Y/O

This makes me wonder if their live performances were responsible for their downfall. If the inability to present their superb writing was a regular thing, it would not be much fun to be in Big Star, and their audience would not need that explained to them.
