I use the same method as you do, throwing double Dutch. I’m wondering if you always carry the same color in your left and right hands or do you alternate between rows? I love the speed I get knitting Double Dutch and want to make sure that it’s not skewing my stitches by switching my knit and purl hands every other row. Your videos are all super easy to follow and so helpful!!

When will these patterns get released? They are not on Ravelry that I could find.

Now to figure out how to start a row in a different colour ; u ;

it’s perfectly possible to change the colours of the edge pairs, but just be aware, the colour change won’t necessarily align with where the colours change in the body of the pattern, due to the elongated nature of the slipped stitches. To start the row in a different colour, just start knitting with the new colour! Simple as that! Good luck.

Came across your method of ssk and it is the only one that works simply. Other ssk methods I’ve tried do work and look neat but are very difficult to achieve with my arthritic fingers. So thank you very much for your help!

Love it! Now just to figure out what to do to keep the edges connected to make sure its one double sided scarf and not two separate scarves at once 😂

I’m glad to see you’re doing well. I’m sorry you had t9 go through that abuse online. As a US mainstay-liberal, I was disgusted with the performative attacks on someone over something so small. We’ve really lost our way in the knitting community, when become more about a snappy attack to post than it is about real justice and equity. Most people attacking we’re doing so to earn points and nobody was seeing that the attacks did it fit the crime they said took place. I hope you have found some peace. That level of rage at one person would drive anyone over the edge. Wishing you happiness and peace beautifulL.

You do a little bit too much talking but the explanations of the stitches of how they work were very helpful. Ive always wondered why not knit 2 tog instead but youve explained very well with your clear accent. A BIG THANKYOU. 🧶🪡🧶

I have a tidy SSK but the next row I knit and my decrease row goes wobbly. That knit stitch is straight and not slanted to the left - any way to fix that?? 🙏

Your section you claim to feel a bad choice because you don’t recognize the tiles,reminds me of computer carb. I love the variegated yarn selection and feel a basic colour block would take away from genesis’ lusciousness. I will have a look at this pattern, I may have to make this a long term project. It is a definite statement piece. I know I am late but is a copy of your book available from you?

So upset that it took me 3 weeks to get to this episode. Sockmatician is 1 of the few channels I try to get to before 24 hours. And I've been hounding thru the tutorials on the channel for weeks looking for a specific technique that I can't remember where I saw it. Could have been watching while I was searching. Need to add the book to my wishlist also.

What a gorgeous result and so astoundingly simple once I see it. My next question: I love the yarnovers in this sample piece between the lines of k2tog and SSK - how did you get them so uniform in size on each side, and how did you get them to go from larger to smaller in size as you continue to knit up in the piece?
