Armalaser holds zero with total reliability. However It’s not got the light. With OLight I was disappointed with the laser sight drifting off target, no matter what I did. It wouldn’t hold zero. The OLight however is awesome. One serious issue with gun-mounted sights is to avoid at all costs getting charged with pointing a loaded weapon at anyone: Felonious brandishing. That person might legally shoot at the person pointing the light-on-the gun at them if they believe they are about to be fired upon. We are well informed that cops will most likely shoot first and ask questions later if presented with the above situation, which if they are pounding on the person’s front door. The strong advice given was to not be using the gun light as our search light!!! This can get a law abiding person shot. It’s also incredibly irresponsibly stupid to do. Massad Ayoob has excellent video on this very important subject. The quick latch onto & off the gun with OLight is ingenious but the slight bit of necessary play on lockup is part of the problem no doubt. My experience above leads me to suggest Olight for just the light and forget it for the laser. Light versus laser on a gun: this depends on what a person believes is going to be needed most in a self defense encounter: If it’s total darkness, yes we must have a light source put onto the threat before putting finger on trigger and shooting - from either the gun or the other hand perhaps. Or to hit a wall switch nearby to light up the area. So my choice is to stick with Armalaser laser sight AND a good set of Trijicon sights on my Glock. The OLight however is mighty handy carried off the gun in magpouch on left side of belt buckle. It’s a great flashlight and it also the blinding strobe mode - which goes on & off by a quick press on both end tabs. Or with a quick tap on one side, the light comes on & off instantly. So I carry both at night but trust only Armalaser on my Glock. Clay Hayes posted a great video with Mickey Sulch coaching him on shooting at an imaginary charging grizzly bear, using his Glock 20 in 10mm. We learned in the comments of a person more experienced-with-grizzlies than most, who carried his Glock 10mm with laser sight so to get on target faster. Laser sights on handguns is always going to start conversations about the pros and cons, but I submit that the best advice to consider is from the person with the most experience - with both charging grizzlies and charging bad guys. All the experts tell us this: Both events can happen mighty fast, all the more reason to get training from someone like Mickey Sulch.

I bought Power Director for years. Then I got tired of paying for it and switched to Da Vinci Resolve; it's free though I've donated. It works great. Give it a try if you want to save money and get rid of the water mark.

Extremely disappointed with this stock. Purchased for my Mossberg 500 Tactical. The stock folds left side - exactly where the saddle for the extra 6 rounds is mounted. Meaning I have to ditch the saddle or buy a much bigger gun case to accommodate the huge width of the partially folded stock. Second big disappointment: the stock doesn't lock in place when deployed. The sliding parts that are supposed to mate together to form the lock - don't slide into each other. A lot of time with a very fine file is going to be required to get things to fit together. Save your money and invest in a stock that is properly designed and executed. This isn't it.

Can't even remotely consider a pistol grip chassis for bolt action. I just wish Savage unfucked themselves on the BULLSHIT absolutely non tactical stocks on EVERY SINGLE SAVAGE 110 TACTICAL/ 10FP/110FP ETC. I had more of a confrontation with a Savage representative at the NRA convention in RENO, Nevada in 2001?-02? Anyway, I brought my disdain of the cheap hunter style flimsy stock on a "tactical" model and that shitbird was more offended at an end user speaking the truth of their cheap fucking trash plasticfantastic factory flimsy BULLSHIT stock on the 110FP .300 Win Mag rifle. I went with a BOYD'S laminate Varminter stock and ended up just selling the rifle to my boss at the time. Now I have the new 110 Tactical and I can't say I'm a fan of that stock either.

Am I wrong in saying that the adjustment is actually moving the impact on the target. i.e. up moves the bullet up and is really moving the red dot down?
@mintac367211 ай бұрын
I always think of it this way, "Chase the bullseye". If my impacts are 2" left (windage) of the bullseye and 2" high (elevation), then I need to move my red dot 2" to the right and 2" down. It is best to work with only one perimeter at a time (windage or elevation). I hope that helps! Happy shooting!
