На сколько акума хватает?
@DIYAcoustic9 күн бұрын

What is the battery backup duration?
@DIYAcoustic21 күн бұрын

@@DIYAcoustic Brother if I use 6000 mah 24 volt lithium ion battery and use the system at 60-70 percent volume then can I get backup upto 5 hrs? and are you answering for 2hrs backup on the basis of your practical experience?
@DIYAcoustic19 күн бұрын
You can easily calculate, knowing what is the current consumption of the amplifier. My speaker worked for about 10 hours when listening at a volume of 30-45%, maybe even more, I never discharged the battery to the minimum. Amplifier tpa3116 2 pcs. Perhaps if you use a more energy-efficient amplifier with high efficiency, it will work longer. After all, the load is floating, even the volume level of the low-frequency speaker depends. If you have a 6S battery at 6000 mAh (these are 12 cans of the 18650 type) and your amplifier, for example, consumes 1 ampere of current on average, accordingly it will work for 6 hours.

What exactly you don’t understand, everything is simple, if you buy a bluetooth module, an amplifier and everything else, then on each device there is a marking of connection pins and, accordingly, the permissible voltage.

Bro this thing looks just awesome !! Respect! I want to build a speaker for myself, i have a small canton subwoofer like 8" and a jbl 12" subwoofer i dont need anymore. I dont want a speaker that is impossible to carry arround but i guess a little sub is not good for outdoor use. Second pepblem is that i dont know if a closed design is any good for outdoor use. The tpa3116 is not that powerfull for longhub or too big driver i guess. Third problem, i dont know any parameters like qts for building an enclosure. Or should i buy an 10" car audio woofer which i know the parameters to build a good enclosure ? Like audio system CO 08 evo ? I hope u can help me
@DIYAcoustic6 ай бұрын
To assemble a Bluetooth speaker using a 12" subwoofer, it will be heavy in any case, especially if the speaker requires a large internal volume. For example, on my KZbin channel there is a speaker with a jbl 12" subwoofer, it weighs about 42 kg. this is a lot, you need to carry it in 2 and carry it only in the trunk of a car. For a portable one, I think the maximum size is 8", as for the power of the tpa3116, it approximately needs an 8" subwoofer, they are usually about 100w. Car subwoofers require more power around 200w and above, you can consider tpa3255. About the speaker parameters, I agree that it will be easier to assemble, knowing the parameters, you will be able to understand what internal volume is needed for the speaker, what design is suitable.
@DIYAcoustic6 ай бұрын
For the best efficiency of designing your Bluetooth speaker in an open environment: a closed box, a bass reflex or with a passive radiator, you will need to at least measure the impedance of the speaker in the box. Based on the result, you can understand what type of design is better suited; if it’s a bass reflex, then it’s better to bring the port forward. A closed box will play well if you buy a good speaker with low FS, a good magnetic system (full quality factor), with a small internal equivalent volume, then you can get low tuning in small dimensions.
@DIYAcoustic6 ай бұрын
If you use CO 08 Evo, it has fs 41.9Hz, Vas 20.7 liters. Let’s assume you assembled a closed box, square, then it will be approximately 28 x 28 x 28 cm, this is inside the case, taking into account the small volume displaced by the speaker itself, i.e. you take into account the thickness of the material and can imagine the future size of the speaker, or rather the compartment for the subwoofer. In this case the resonance will rise to 58-59hz. This is normal for clear and correct sound; you won’t hear low bass in the open air. The bass reflex can be adjusted to approximately 39-41Hz. Just use the program to see for yourself how long the port will be needed, whether it will fit inside the case or make a port along the wall with a 90-degree turn.
@dschNgz6 ай бұрын
@@DIYAcoustic thanks for your Response ! So do you think its stupid to build with a speaker if you dont have the parameters ? I dont want to throw them away or build cases i cant reuse for anything u know. I dont need ultra low bass, 50hz and above would be fair enough
@DIYAcoustic6 ай бұрын
Of course, you can assemble without parameters, but the result can be very bad, for example, you assemble a case, and the VAS dynamics are very large, in the end you will get a very high setting, etc. Of course, it may be that you get a good result the first time, in fact, you can configure it after assembly if you make a bass reflex port using a port in the form of a sewer or some other pipe, selecting different lengths by ear, or use a smartphone microphone in a spectrum analyzer application.
