Love this! I have that tiered tray as well! I also don't care it's hot here i've got all the supplies for hot chocolate station but have to put it together so thanks for sharing! I am going to put some candy canes in a container for hot chocolate stirrers. OMG flumps! I was thinking of getting giant marshmallows and coating in dark melted chocolate to drop in the mugs.

Join me getting all the toys organised before Christmas so we can get all the unwanted toys to the charity shop in time to be reused for Christmas.

It's better to buy good quality chocolate and cut them up smaller. The chocolate chips have oils in them that make them firm after baking in cookies or brownies.

Have you ever been to The States during Halloween? It's completely nuts (as an outsider looking in). I did like how there is an etiquette to American Halloween, such as only knock on a door with a jack-o'-lantern, or decorations, or light on, on the front porch.

I made up a gift basket for J, a friend who had just had baby #4. I got a few treats for J and then asked her if she wants anything specifically. Her reply was breast pads and maternity pads. Now I always ask what new mama would like/need, as well as a few treats. One friend R asked for clothing dye. Why? She saw the bright coloured cloth nappies I was using for my kids and wanted some too. As she was also having baby #4 and had dozens of cloth nappies, dye was her wish.

A lot of the items you purchased are similar to what I've bought for my 2.5 year old! I also bought the Melissa and Doug Blues Clues & You Time for Glasses playset that I found for $8.50. I feel like the packaging doesn't do it justice. I think my little girl will be thrilled with it. I also got her the Battat (same company as B toys, I think) hippodontist set. It's a water toy where you clean the hippo's teeth. I live in the US and this one I got at Walmart. The other toy my girls really like is the Playmobil 123 toys... I think they were renamed Playmobil Junior.

For 2 gifts for our friends kids who love Bluey we got a Bluey night before Christmas and the Bluey magnet book and they place the different characters on the pages to go with the story. Also a Find Bluey Christmas book as our friend's son loves searching in books for things. We agree you can never have enough books - i dream of floor to ceiling book shelves.
