I'm assuming for the sake of my story that this occurred in the 70's. A buddy and I hitch hiked a lot back then. A carload of giggly, loud girls pulled over to pick us up. Pot was in the air but the car was packed. I told the driver "I don't need a ride right now but if you give me your phone number I'll call you when I do need a ride"..she said "fuck you" and sped off. In school she was giving me crusties but I walked up to her anyway. She said "What's your bag, man"? I offered you a ride." I reminded her stoned ass that girls were already sitting on each others lap and she laughed and that was that..
