Thanks for the comment. Vegetable oils are not created equal and it depends on what you are using. Refer to our episode on olive oil for more info kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKHdq6iwfK9pmtEsi=xJJBZG4dBV0Y0BJp or an earlier episode on "Fats, Grease and Oil"

YOu are the first to say vegetable oils are good. And it feels like you just jump from thought to thought. Cannot follow.

Question: my dental assistant has recommended using a peroxide mouth rinse (50:50) to get possible bacteria around my receding gums. I understand why, but am hesitant, thinking this might kill off any natural ‘good bugs’ as well. Any thoughts on the use of peroxide? Thank you! And thanks for the fun and informative podcast!

Something I like to add to my oats is shredded carrots. I always look for ways to add veggies at every meal. I also love Savory oats with greens and mushrooms.

Great idea!! Definitely going to try the savoury oats. I’ve heard of a few other people using oats that way - more like a rice bowl, with veggies and spicy sauce. So many options!

please talk about the new tack the industry of citrus is taking-namely coating the fruit with was, resin or lac! Does the covering wash off? Does it go into the flesh of the fruit?

I am giving up watching after 4 mins. I hate it when the presenters go on and on and on to give us details we don’t want or need to know.

Where are the olives?
@sandragentleman2138 Жыл бұрын
Olives are so delicious and nutritious!! They are high is oleic fatty acid, which is a 'healthy fat' and fit nicely into a healthy eating pattern. Not particularly high is protein (although ....are low in carbs) and olives definately are an excellent addition to any snack or meal. Great suggestion!:) Sandra, RD (co-host My Wife the Dietitian)

I’m not sure if you have already done this. I just found your show today and I love it. My A1c is a little high so I’m looking for low sugar or sugar, free healthy, yummy snacks. I would love to hear your take on that. Thank you.
