Just a quick question...Why wasn't the quarter square triangle used for all four sections rather than the squares?

This is REALLY helpful, Gail! I'm so happy to be able to use the AQ and the Qube(s) - no cutting those pesky fractional sizes! I can barely manually cut inches, much less 3/8 and 3/4. 🙃 Also appreciate your explaining how to break down a pattern into its components to use AQ. <smacks forehead> Brilliantly simple! (Well, this block, at least. 😉) Thanks for being awesome!

Love these designs. I'm hesitant because I don't see how to use them in a quilt. Would you fussy cut each block or just use them for borders? Love your descriptions too.

I know I'm late to your KZbin channel but I just finished watching your message to your customers. First and foremost, yours and Bill's decision to go online was understandably a very hard decision to make. With that, I hope by this time, you've moved forward in your journeys of life with family and friends. Many years ago, I attended a quilt retreat in PA. I'm from California and a retreat camper offered to take me to Ladyfingers Sewing Center in Oly. Your store was amazing and I felt like I was at Disneyland! I bought lots of Dimples yardage and a Hungry Caterpillar Kit. I wish I could have bought more but squeezing my items into my suitcase was challenging, but I did it! And yes, I did complete the Hungry Caterpillar quilt and gave it to my grandson along with the book...he was only 1 years old and grew to love his quilt and book. Every so often, I do buy the Dimples fabric as they are perfect for my quilts. In closing, thank you for your wonderful shop and best to you and Bill.

Hey Gail! Love the Aboriginals.! Bought some in your store a while ago before you went strictly online. Unfortunately haven't been able to sew in a while due to medical issues, but hope to eventually get back to it. Hope you and yours are well!!! Pats and scratchies to Maddy‼️🐾🐾

Hi Gail - Congratulations to you and Bill and Maddie on moving into a new and exciting phase of your lives. I love your dog BTW - I have one named Pippin who is her cousin :). Personal story - I found your class on Craftsy several years ago and I have watched it many times since. I find your teaching method calming and encouraging. When Craftsy was trying out different ways of running the business, my account suddenly didn't have your class. I was mad at myself for not figuring out how to somehow download it! That was after I got over being very sad it was gone. BUT, miraculously it later appeared in my account. I can't tell you how happy that made me. I have you and Jenny Doan to thank for opening the door to the quilting world for me. Thank you! I can't wait to see your website and to see what you do next. As I live in Los Angeles, Ladyfingers wasn't exactly down the street, so I'm very happy to know you are doing it all on your website. Enjoy your new adventure, Gail and Bill and Maddie!

Gail, I wish you the best as you enter the next phase of Ladyfingers. I love your shop, and have found the most wonderful fabrics, threads and notions at the shop. And always, always, great customer support both in person and on-line. I look forward to continuing to shop at Ladyfingers! Happy Holidays, Helen E.

Gail and Bill, wishing you all the best. There is no doubt this business is your heart and soul. I’ve only been an online buyer since I live in TN; however, your store was on my list to come see in person. Hopefully one of those times you open the doors for the day I’ll be able to see this beautiful store and meet the team. There is no doubt the online business will thrive. Take care and enjoy your time together with family and friends and new business endeavors!!

Very nice. When you say "slightly widened" the default stitch width, just how much is slightly? I assume your stitch does not go through to the front side.
