Great all around, you two. Classic Rock and 70's sounded the best. But all-in-all, a great demo. Now let's talk about mic spacing!

"Yeah I've got a Johnny Marr Jaguar too" Oh like a signature, that's cool "Like he gave it to me or whatever" Imagine just being weird ass J Mascis and soloing your way into being nonchalant about fucking Johnny Marr giving you a guitar. I mean I guess they were almost peers but for some reason that seems like a much bigger deal than he's making it Also it's a little disgusting that he's just sitting on like... and actual fortune of guitars just in his rec room. Of course I hope J is doing good financially from all the great art he's made, but he can't be doing THAT well to not even think about cashing in the J Mascis guitar stash right?

Interesting functionality. Does it actually sound that bad or is it just this video? That’s a very dissonant, scratchy, muddy, unpleasant guitar sound…

I found a ukelele on amazon recently with reviews so stellar for such a good price that im honestly considering picking one up to learn a string instrument. I bounced off guitar but the ukelele just has a fun, upbeat tone that I love. Plus, who doesn't love Israel's version of "Somewhere over the rainbow" (Israel is the name of a hawaiian dude who was 600 pounds and sang like an angel, not the country home to more controversy than hollywood) if somehow you dont know the song im talking about, LOOK IT UP RIGHT AFTER THIS VIDEO, I promise it'll brighten your day.

Interesting stuff gang. Thanks for the tips and tricks. I'm looking at my own drums pretty hard on my Lo-fi chill tracks. I'm a bit limited, because I don't want to use a DAW to create, and am exploring other ways of getting cool sounds.

I just recently became the happy owner of a DR504 via Hi-Tone. It is the single brightest sounding fucking clean amp I've ever played. It's a gorgeous clean, but I don't get how people can play them with the treble or presence knobs above 9:00

Also Steve Fryette was right: the magic in this circuit's distortion sound is in the master volume/phase inverter.

Think about this.... Jimi Hendrix rig was probably comparable to the cheaper rig for him in his day. I mean the "vintage" stuff is high price because it's vintage. It was not vintage for hendrix. It was new(ish).

Nice lesson, but way too condensed. Each of the 4 steps should dedicated at leat 6 minutes. Not teach all 4 steps in 6 minutes. Sometimes people that know something very well forget that any learning process takes a bit of explanation but a lot of pracice... otherwise we would sll be misicians, learn languages, and lean other skills in juat a few minutes. We would be a different society... learning, or teaching takes more than a brief explanation. In any case, it's all good. Thank you.
