For the long time U2 fans, this is basically the inverse of how traditionally closed a lot of shows over the past few decades with the song 40 As they left the stage one by one ultimately leaving Larry out there to close it out.

I was at Seattle. I fucking loved the simplicity of this intro- they just walk out to Space Oddity while the audience loses their minds- it felt like watching four astronauts about to embark on some interstellar adventure

U2 fan takes no credit. 2016 I write U2 (after falling approx 29 ft thru skylight) and suggest starting off concert with Sunday Bloody Sunday to get fans “Rockin U2 style” from the start !!! I’m not taking credit, just jamming U2 style !!!

I always imagine how Larry must feel when he walks on stage in his hometown in front of 80,000 Dubliners. It all started when he put a notice up in his High School looking for people to form a band with him just over 40 years ago. The rest is history.
