Yeah I would agree... A combination of my crap phone audio ( 7 years ago 😬) and the fact that for Weenie Roast I don't think I've ever heard a great sound tbh. When I saw Rise Against in Carson at Weenie Roast, the sound was also crap. Lol.

Oh good luck!! After sending it to the Egnater support site in Huntington Park at least twice, they could not fix it. They claimed it was the tubes but that was bullshit. I ended up selling it to someone who thought they could work on it. It's a pity.

Every time you play either of your red strats I fall even more in love when I honestly believe it's not possible to love you more. The original red one here I named Ester. After Queen Ester. Do you know the story ? Well....that is why the only suitable name for this guitar is Ester. Because had the King not extended his scepter to her kneeling before him in a room filled with all of the most important people in that kingdom she would have been put to death. This show was amazing! It was the first time I went to a Death Cab show and I was at the very front touching the railing which was pretty awesome in itself. Great live band. Mad respect for Ben. Such an underrated musician.

Hello, the Egnater tech swore it was the tubes until they put "their" tubes in it and the same issue arose. Replacing tubes is what they usually tell you to start with. I am more inclined to think this is a bad product. It was in the shop for months. You can try to call them if yours is under warranty, but don't expect too much. Egnater support, they are nice but it's not great.

I could finally fix mine today, it was just a bad pre amp tube, I took a new one and replaced each one until I could find the little sucker. But I got scared at first because it was unplayable and I had just bought it new a month ago.

Seems like an oxydized input jack (front or back (fx loop). But it could also juste be a cold solder joint at one of the preamp tube sockets. Just open the amp, pull over the chassis and inspect under good lighting conditions any weak or crackly solder near the tube socket.

Thank you fightmefag (great username btw! lol), it's been at the Egnater shop already a few times, they returned it to me and it was still doing this. They tried to tell me it was the tubes, I had put new JJ's in there, which is crap! I got it back for the second time and haven't gig-tested it yet because I went ahead and bought a Fender Deluxe rather than deal with this crap. If I'd known Egnater amp support was so weak I would have thought twice. I'm a big fan of Eggies, but after this, no more for me.

he kept messing with me for that entire show. it started with him stepping on my hand then it went to us playing chicken where he would see me and get this big grin on his face and start walking over getting ready to pounce, and then i would move away and stick my tongue out at him and he would laugh. i gotta say gigs are enhanced exponentially when Captain Sensible spends most of them fucking with you!!
