as someone who is a 11 yr loc wearer I really enjoy your video...I do wrap my hair and see my locs as a sacred hairstyle only certain ppl get to see my locs now but when Im in the sun next to the beach in nice weather I'll wear my locs out more often....

Hello I am 5 years and 8 months loc’d in and enjoying the journey I feel much of the same as you do about my hair journey when I first started them there was many people with locs in different stages so I was very much prepared when I started I also wanted them since I was a teenager so when I decided I was ready to get them for more than just a hair style one of the best decisions I’ve ever made

I chose to lock my hair with traditional locks almost 4 years ago. Best decision I’ve ever made. The sense of feminine and beauty have resonated in me since I locked. I feel my most beautiful in my natural state and I tell people all the time like Beyoncé says I woke up like this. You are so lovely and I am totally enjoying your videos so peaceful and so inspiring and some of the things you’ve mentioned on your journey, has resonated with me as well on my journey. Im happy to have found your channel reminds me of where it is that I need to be ..❤well ive been growing my locks most of my life, im 45 and have had dreads since 20 then we were influenced by ladies like Lauren Hill ..i concur its not easy imagine having dreads as a young woman people would stare some would curse but i kept it moving and still loving my locks 😊

i had freedom dreads. i cut my hair bald about 6 or 7 months ago. been growing slowly but surely. i think I'm gonna allowv my hair to dread on it's own again since i really don't wanna do anything else to it and I'm not really a fan of the whole "fixed locs" thing. it's too much upkeep for me , but ur cute. your hair is really pretty
