Morphine obviously does not work for you. It may work well for others. I hope your Dr considers other classifications of pain killers for you. 😢

The 18 year old treatment not clear. Did he receive steroids, theophylline, epi, multi-inhalers,home nebs or newer drugs which address mast cells or other steps in the entire cascade of an asthmatic attack. They made it sound like he only received nebs, oxygen and warnings it will keep happening. is this for privacy or does patient not follow his medical care. All the other patients received usual treatments with resp care team support. Also every pedi show so much drama from doctors and nurses Wouldnt child be calmer without all talking and obvious attention.

"Where do they get the beds from?" By kicking out people like me, that the Dr says will stay in for another couple of days, then they discharge them to the care of their GP, where of course there is no care 😢

My dad died from COPD last month. One day he collapsed, then 6 months later he was in palliative care suddenly. He seemed perfectly fine until 2 months prior to being hospitalised.

Oh and huge thanks to all NHS staff at Glenfield hospital, Leicester. My dad had nothing but praise for all the staff there, right up until the end, and his wife said he was treated with the utmost respect afterwards. True heroes of the NHS 💙

I just had major surgery, once back home my pharmacy refused to fill my rx pain med because they "didn't want me to end up like the movie stars". Medical care here in the States is awful!! I'm moving around in extreme pain so my chest doesn't fill with fluid. It's nice in this show to see doctors and nurses actually listen to the patients and deeply care.

If Lewis was speaking to me like that, I would have made him be treated with no pain meds, until he begged for a needle. Horrible person. It shows the older patients are so respectful, the younger adults are horrible to the staff.

The boy who fell off his moped will need to toughen up. I’ve seen three year olds who don’t cry as much. He needs to learn some respect for the staff as well. Calling a doctor “mate” certainly isn’t acceptable in my opinion.

not only that, its his own fault for not using a single piece of protective clothing bar a helmet, if he didnt want road rash he should have sucked it up and put it on instead of thinking its too hot, could have killed himself over not wanting to sweat.

The lady who so tragically lost her baby, only to become a nurse to help others especially another newborn bubby is an earth Angel. I'm so incredibly sorry for her loss, 😔 but her little one will so proud of her just as I am too. She is an outstanding person. God bless her.

Ground level staff are wonderful! It is the system higher up that is the problem. Definitely nurses should be paid a lot more, but you have to do it for the love of it and that is why they become professionals in this field. I was a care assistant for over 25 years and missed a chance in 1976/77 , where i was offered a cadetship in nursing, been kicking myself ever since. Loved my work and love people, which i think is essential in this line of work. I am now 64 and the ship has passed.

Sad, that I was born this way. It's taking a great toll on me. Not many know this about me. Each severe asthma attack that I survive, I become more thankful to YAHWEH. I am also allergic to many things. Right now, I am still having subtle asthmatic cough 😷. My husband, said if it continues, I will see a pulmonologist. I have growing children (young toddlers) and I seriously this cough after the medication goes away. My husband is an anaesthetist. He sometimes, looks at me with a worrying side look. I have seretide inhaling medication, ventolin inhaler (the blue inhaler) nebuliser and all my medications at home, but hospital is still a far much better care. You will get many expertise and specialist attend to you, especially when your body seems not to be responsive with medications given. Some people ignorantly think that the blue inhaler (ventolin) is all the answers to Asthma attacks and conditions.

Love the show and the work done ......... but what is the point of reuploading the same episodes over and over again.Somehow I don't think its fair to the patients who were featured particularly those who have passed away.

Jane the volunteer lady is brilliant! Her humour alone is spot on. 🤣 What a wonderful yet selfless thing to do by working for free to give back to her community. 😊 As for lewis who's afraid of needles, he originally said "GIVE ME SOME GAS & AIR & YOU CAN PUT A NEEDLE IN", so i just understand why the doctors wouldn't do that when he had already had some gas & air in the ambulance! It would have solved so many issues, saved so much time, stopped him from leaving. Although i must say his attitude is somewhat obnoxious and unnecessary even if he is afraid.

Of all the diseases in the world, MND is the one I’m most scared of getting, it robs you of everything while still leaving you compos mentis, if I ever get this, I’m going to Switzerland for assisted dying because there is no way I could live with this knowing that I would lose every function of my body.
