A bit late to see this but, I have to say my k7 750 was a wicked starter bike for "me" it was my first bike ever, never rode even a dirt bike. Im a larger guy 6'3" 240 lbs. I found it fit me decent. I was also 42 yrs old when i got it. I made sure i remembered this bike can woop my ass if i didnt control that right hand! I didnt take a single course rode it 7 times, did my test and passed. Been just about 5 yrs now and still love this bike. Ill never get rid of it. Yes i could have started on a R3 or even a 500 but with my size instead of riding it then realizing it have to sell it right away cuz i cant even merge with hwy traffic safely, this bikes power is great to be able to keep riding it for as long as I can and it never feels slow.

Adore my 750. A brembo front master cylinder turns them into a whole new animal when it comes to braking. Crazy fun and easy to ride machines. I run AMSoil strictly, and clean every inch of the bike when doing services. Im at 20k miles runs like it was just built. Suzuki is world known for their endless reliability. They just wont the FIM 24hr Championship again for the 13th TIME! Chain check each week, clean and lube as needed. Im on 2 years with my chain. Do sprockets with the chain when its finally kinked and old. Lube entends their life a lot. I lowered the front 4mm and raised the rear 4mm to make the turn in a touch faster and its really dialed in now. Last bike to attempt to chase me through the twistes ended up in a ditch! I prefer Yoshi on the GSXR and tossed my M4, sounds to much like a Civic. Yoshi also has the most gains, as a 40+ year OEM Suzuki race partner!

I just clocked over 64,000kms on my K7 750. Done the Brembo master with brembo floating T-bar rotors. Does stoppy's from any speed at will. Full Titanium Sato Racing exhaust system developed in Japan on the 600. Has a sound like no other and the only system I have ever seen besides mine over the past 10-15yrs I been running this system. Sounds very F1 ish. Lashings of titanium bolts throughout, rear sets, clipons, race tank filler etc all to drop the weight. 520 chain mod and lube every 500kms and sprokets and chain has lasted me many years. BST carbon wheels with a shock revalve plus gold valves in the fork this thing handles like it is on rails. Horsepower isn't an issue if you can ride and this one can hang with the best of them. This bike still blows my mind and I will never sell it, It is apart of me. xx

Just bought my first bike also a gsxr 750. Never rode a bike before…like ever. Took me about 5 minutes to muster up the courage and after that I was off to riding. Defiantly alot of power but if respecting the bike and not being reckless it’s great. Probably wont ever grow out of it.
