Why promote thieves and scoundrels? The British Museum is fully aware the Parthenon Sculptures were/are stolen but refuses to return them because they make too much money from them. Cultural pirates should be boycotted by all!

The tailor shop in Kingsman Secret Service, and the one that blew up in Kingsman Golden Circle is based on the Huntsman tailors - oldest tailor shop in the U.K., and for their partnership, Huntsman kept a few of the suits in their halls, and also that plaque as a tribute and a souvenir for the movie series.

The title of this video is 'Walking Tour of Luton Town Centre' but there is so much more to the town than the centre. Stopsley is fairly leafy, as is much of the area off the New Bedford Road and around Wardown Park. Then there is Stockwood Park.

there are roman copies of greek original statues in the vatican museum(ive seen in videos), like the athlete annointing himself with sand and oil with kind of a spoon , the original also created around 320 bc, lyssipos did some beautiful statues and busts to be fair, been to this museum once before and loved it , i hope i can go back again, especially to this room and the parthenon marbles just so breath taking

Great for someone who most likely will not ever visit the Louvre. The only offputting thing about it would be the crowds (take it that it's like that all the time). And, as any art lover knows, the pictures will do, where an in-person experience can't be had (the whole Art Book Industry depends on that reality).

Am I missing something? It seems the camera often doesn't stop on the interpretive text so I can't read about the object I'm seeing.

You do realise that there are over 8 million artefacts in this museum? And that I’m spending hours covering the whole museum?

@@TheWalkingCameraChannel I appreciate that, however, when you take time to pan up and down over an object and then just barely miss panning low enough to see the placard for an instant (0.5 second), which a viewer could freeze frame on, I see a missed opportunity. When watching, since the care was taken to zoom in and scan up and down the object, I almost thought it was just a mistake to miss scanning the text in a half second, but then I realized this happens with many objects so it must be intentional.
