I was driving on a 6 hour trip when I first heard this episode and remember having to pull over due to how much anxiety this episode gave me. I fell in love with podcast because of this series, I love seeing it brought to life visually, Ty for doing this!

There's something funny yet touching about how the first thing Lup heard from her brother after getting trapped was "excuse me, uh d-dj-d-dorf, there's a cane here to look at"

God I wish someone would animate the whole series.

The style. The character designs. The foley work. The minimal yet somehow fluid movement. The use of only dialogue, as if this is a normal cartoon we’re watching. The stitching together of scenes to illustrate Lup’s experience. I love literally everything about this, except that it’s only 5 minutes long lmao

I love that Griffin really managed to capture the sibling dynamic between Lup and Taako at the end. After all this time they haven’t been able to see each other Lup’s first words to Taako is just “you’re dating the Grim Reaper????”

I love the connotation that Lup had destroyed/devoured the essence of every other magic user trapped by the umbrastaff, taking their power for her own. All hail the undisputed Lich champion Lup

I won’t lie, I teared up as Lup spun around while grinning/laughing. You could tell she was proud of herself and just...so relieved to finally be free. And also the way it looks like she’s screaming “IT’S ME! I’M IN HERE!” or something like that, just...such desperation in that expression.

God, this is so good. I’m impressed by something new every time I watch it.
