My childhood friend got a brand new 90' KDX200, upgrading from an XR80, and to both of us it was like going from a bicycle to a rocket. Great woods machine!

If its doesnt have a medium comp head and maps (or ERM) from TSP then you really are missing out on what that bike can do. If u can can drain your coolant, seat some o-rings, own a torque wrench to torque 6 easy bolts and copper washers, upload a map to your ecu or send it to anyone with basic PC skills and tuning software and your set for a bike twice as good down low
@dirtbikesyndicateАй бұрын
True. A tune and a new dome would be nice! But even in stock form, the new bikes are amazingly good. This spring we are going to be doing some mods to both the old TPI bikes and TBI we are running. Get out and RIDE!! Thanks.
@dirtbikesyndicateАй бұрын
Have you noticed more vibration in the bars on the TBI than the old TPI Bikes? My Gas Gas TPI is smoother than the Husky TBI bike?? Might just be a fluke?
@mifo2000Ай бұрын
@@dirtbikesyndicate The only TBI ive ridden alot has the same TSP mods as mine. I like the TPI bikes once they have a good tune and oiling map done. Then u really do have a soft and hard map. Better power delivery and You can trust the oil injection map to be safe

Nice choice. Hope you can tell us if the installation significantly reduced the heat. Do you have a link to where you bought on Ebay?

Thanks for the video. Please update us after you have had a chance to use if for awhile. I would love to loose the heat and weight from the OEM exhaust. Wouldn't you need to re-map the engine after taking of the catalytic converter?

Ran it for a few rides in 80 f weather. Much cooler on the right foot but very loud. I do not think it needs a retune with the pipe but most who get the Gabro tuner feel it runs better? Better throttle response. A little more power. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pp_ShZljpaiBsKcsi=jYSIF6HXfoWe-XuP
