Well, because of other problems, I've turned off Fast Boot. Because I rarely shutdown and restart during the day, it only was saving me time first thing in the morning. Then I discovered that since all the settings are stored in the fast boot file, it sometimes through things off after some drivers were updated. It would try and load settings that were no longer correct. Turning off Fast Boot fixes that problem because the settings are reloaded at startup. There is no procedure for modifying an .exe. One of the main purposes of shortcuts is to add configuration strings if an exe allows parameters to be passed to it.

Probably not. The standards for creating a shortcut are used when programming each individual .exe. And, of course, each .exe has its own source code unless it's public domain. Could be one of many programming languages. You're really chasing after something that has a more elegant solution with shortcuts.

Did you try and go to the Meta business page and switch profiles? You should be able to manage either one depending on how you set them up.

It's probably because your audio chip manufacturer didn't create those options in the driver.

Make sure your default document library is set to the same directory as Max. It uses that to store and retrieve saved games. Just check Libraries settings for docs.

Go to Business.facebook.com, not the www. The business suite is a free tool to manage your posts. Then follow the instructions in the video and you should be good to go.

Great news! The reason I did this video is I had just done something very similar and tried the usual undo. Thank god for Windows and it's ability to handle the reversing of my stupidity! Have fun with your game!

The short answer... Not sure. They might not see the drive as one that can be used depending on speed and quality. If it appears and seems to let you to move it, you should have a very fast drive. At least a USB 3.2. Also a high transfer rate. 1000MB/s. But then the question is why? If you are thinking you can use it on two different systems (maybe your home syatem and your laptop), it probably won't work. The symbolic links that it sets up for the non-system drive point to a specific drive in that system. But good luck. Hope you get it working like you want it to!

Glad it helped. But be careful, test it a bit if you are using it with an add-on aircraft. Sometimes, it will reload you at your position but won't reload your flight plan.

Wow! That's been quite a while ago. It was very advanced for it's time.

If you are talking about it not changing the location for downloads from a browser, most browsers override the default settings here. Same with some apps, like Office, etc. Just make sure you created the new location and then copied everything over there. Once you have safely copied them, make the change and then you can get rid of the originals. Also, check you 'libraries' to make sure it shows the new location and not the other one. DON'T delete a location from any of the libraries until you are absolutely positive you have your files in the new location.

Well, I've never used the Addon Linker program. But MSFS 2020 sets up special links called 'symbolic links' to all the folders that were on the C Drive. While it appears to be on the C Drive, they point to your new file locations and allows you the same access to the Community folder for any add-ons that you wish to install. You can find the links in the C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimuator.8wekyb3d9bbwe folder.

You're welcome. But if you are on a newer version of hardware, you might want to get the new Realtek app for Windows. It fixes all the problems. Check your motherboard's website and see if they released the new app for your chipset.

When you make the change to the post on business.facebook.com and save it, it should make the change. When you go back to the page and make sure you refresh, it should show up.

Sorry, other people have reported this but I haven't found a solution to this problem. It seems widespread with several different aircraft being affected. Are the aircraft you are using created by third parties? If so, I would suggest reporting the problem to them so they can update their aircraft to successfully load saved flights.

Well, you say 'delete'. If you just went to the file system and deleted stuff, it doesn't actually delete everything. But it should uninstall everythng if you just go to the Windows Settings Apps page and search for 'flight'. Once it appears on the list, then simply go to the 3 dots on the right and choose uninstall. Or choose advanced options and then choose uninstall from the options there.

No. The Xbox doesn't support individual multiple monitors as in separate displays. You can put a splitter in and extend the width of the display between them. But that's still just one big virtual monitor, not two indenpendant. Of course, if you have two monitors on an Xbox, you can slide the panels to a mostly unused area.
