Thank you! 🤘🏻😄 I stumbled across the 12-string in a second hand store while actually looking for an 8-string. I just wanted to try one... tried the 12-string and it had to come home with me. If you're interested I made a demo video trying out different kinds of techniques. I have to admit I made the video before having it serviced, so there are still some dead frets etc that have been fixed sincen then.

@@hateva_on_bass I miss Alot of the 70s Hard Rock Bass Players it just got to the point where most Bass Players get buried in the mix and that Bottom end under the Guitar is what makes the Song much Heavier IMO!

@@mikebogush6803 you are exactly right. It also depends on the genre. There are some bands who have a more "retro" kind of sound where the bass is clearly audible in the mix and doing its own thing. I definitely know which I prefer, even though I enjoy a heavy wall of sound, I like hearing my bass brothers and sisters

I like the top and the smile better than the song, but what do I know, I'm too young for that Black Sabbath stuff. Just wondering how kids of today actually still dig that. I played a 5 string last week in the shop, so I'm looking at your bad boy and your playing it from a different perspective. I think I'll stick to 4 strings for the foreseeable future. On an unrelated subject, are you aware that the heart symbol is actually a sign of BAAL worship, one of these friendly demonic deities that requires you to unalive your offspring for good fortune? So many symbols, so many meanings.

If the 4 string feels right for you at the moment, and suits your musical needs then that's the way to go. 😁👍 No, I wasn't aware of the meaning of the heart symbol... very interesting. Indeed so many symbols and lots of different meanings depending on context and cultural background. My necklace/collar was not intended as a symbol of Baal worship, I just like the look. Nobody was sacrificed in the making of this video. 😅

@@hateva_on_bass the pressing was off my uncle when I was 10, I treasure it 🙂. I was hearing it when he played and mentioned I liked what I heard and he said “here you go then young man, have it, glad I’ve educated you!” lol. “Come away Melinda” is such a beautiful, soulful song and brilliantly sung by Mr Byron. It’s good to see the younger generation liking the classic rock legends and being inspired to want to play their music. I love the bass, used to have a black Aria pro II. Still dabble now and again. Keep up the great work and effort, wonderful. All the best 🤘

I still have the coverband Phidelity and the prog rock project Noema (both are linked via my channel in case you're interested) and I am open for other projects, sooner or later something will come along that sticks. :)
