@@viuchannel I've actually gone through this over and over again. But the amount being given is minimal and won't be able to cover even half the tuition. What do you suggest?

Too bad it stopped just 2 people before we got to see our daughter walk across. They weren’t even through the Ms so a lot of people got missed.

Next time perhaps the speeches could be shorter (a lot), people were watching to see their kids and too many were disappointed.

How is it better than Conestoga?

The programs look fairly similar, although VIU's program is 7 months as compared to one year at Conestoga (looks that way). It depends what your priorities are. Taking a welding program at VIU does come with the benefit of living on Vancouver Island while you are in the program. All of Canada is beautiful, but we believe Vancouver Island is the most beautiful place you could live. If you want any more info, we could put you in touch with one of our instructors.
