If they could truly get things self-contained, I'd love a mini resin printer. Mostly for HO scale train details, so needs to be capable of putting a 1:87 scale face on a person lets say. I think for now though we're talking a printer, wash station, and curing station, tools.. gloves..air extraction? Heck.. it's too much for a guy already squeezed out of his apartment.
@Homeracingworld7 күн бұрын
@@tvtoms they can print details in that scale. I have printed full driver figures for HO scale slot cars already. Never claimed this method will work for everybody and their needs. It wasn’t about trying to convince anyone to buy a printer. It was just the method I am using to create the bodies.

Greetings Harry, I question for you. I viewed this video featuring the new Carrera NASCAR Camaro. You mentioned that you had forwarded wheel & tire dimensions to the makers of silicone tires as well as Paul Gage for the purpose of making aftermarket tires. Have the folks at Paul Gage responded as to if and when they will make a urethane tire for the Carrera Camaro? If so, do they have a part number available? Thanks in advance.

Ride on Harry. My Sebring C8.R No. 3 is by far my best running Carrera Car, next to my McLaren 720s ones. If you tap on the right side of the C8.R, if standing on the track in the slot, or on a setup-plate, you will notice, that it is not sitting straight on the track. It wobbles on left side of the back. If you remove the chassis, it won`t wobble, but it does, if the body sits onto the chassis. I fixed it, by putting a washer with 5mm in diameter and 0,5mm thickness on the right post, where the body sits on the chassis. That will lvel it just fine. All Carrera 132 C8.R`s have that issue. It is a production failure by Carrera, which they never fixed. In terms of the M4, get rid of the axxles and throw them right into the garbage, because those new rims by Carrera are a catastophy in my eyes. If you use new axxles by slot.it and new aluminum rims, plus PU`s, it will run way better. Or, if you have a Carrera 132 BMW M6, use those axxles with the elder rims on it. On the front, the M6 axxles are a bit too wide, but that can be fixed, mounting a distance ring made of plastic, cutting it and putting it onto the axxle than. The tires are the same as the M6 ones, so that way you have the same dimentions, if putting Paul Gage tires on it. All I did to my C8.R`s, was putting PU`s on the rims of the rear-axxles and they run just fine. I could do more, but not necessary, so far. 🙂 Greets over, to you 🙂

In January I will get it in 124 sccale to run it against my Sweethearts C7.R No. 3, which is a very fast runner. I can hardly beat her with my C8.R`s. Only the Porsche 917K can beat her. 🙂 This Calloway Competition runs here in Germany, where it was tuned by the Calloway tunning guys down south, near Heilbronn.
